Centos 8 Mate?
...ever, someone?s creative editing threw away context, namely that what I said was related to DE descussion. If I was the creative editor I most sincerely apologize. It wasn't my aim to change meaning, I trim in an effort to make it easier for others to read stuff. So if it was me, feel free to chastize me either publicly or privately and please accept my apologie. Re: Demonizing generic Linux issues as Fedora Core-only issues -- WAS: Hi, Bryan
...is is well documented in a lot of places. Red Hat is the only distributor (although I haven't checked Debian) fully honoring the terms MySQL AB sets on its GPL releases of MySQL 4, which include not building and redistributing certain items. It's one of those things that Red Hat also gets chastized on, and one of the reasons I don't use DAG (or Livna.ORG) at businesses. Anything that has GPL licensing/mixing issues, "only for non-profit use" or otherwise is "questionable" use of patents is the reason why I stick with "pure" Fedora Core+Extras or Debian. -...

Redirected Folders not working for Desktop
Well, I've just added another directory to not make the redirected folders a the root. And, Favorites and Documents do work. Goog suggestion to check the Windows event viewer. I'll do that and get back with what I find. Thanks, --Mark -----Original Message----- > To: samba at lists.samba.org > From: James <lingpanda101 at gmail.com> > Date: Tue, 1 Sep 2015 08:14:06 -0400

Redirected Folders not working for Desktop
James, First, I mis-spoke (typed?) in my previous message. Yes, my redirected folders are set up as \\mail.hprs.local\Users\%username%, just like you say. (Note, I've already been chastized about the .local thing -- too late). I did examine the event logs. For Favorites, Document, Photos, etc. I have Event 501 messages which say, "Successfully applied policy and redirected folder "Favorite" to '\\mail.hprs.local\Users\obfuscate\Favorites'", etc. Great. F...

.... In the past, Red Hat made this very easy with revisions. With RHL9+, I think Red Hat really needs to bring them back. > I'm questioning the sensibility of shipping a kernel in what should be > an upgrade If Red Hat doesn't do it, another distro will. And then that distro can be chastized by people like yourself instead of Red Hat, and Red Hat will benefit from being on the trail that other distro's issues. I purposely kept my CL3.2 (Fedora Core 1) systems well after CL4.0 (Fedora Core 2) came out, and didn't upgrade until CL4.1 (Fedora Core 3) was released. I did the sam...

Vonage a provider?
I am new to the mailing list, but I am very interested in running my small home business office phone system using Asterisk. However, Broadvoice, a VoIP provider of choice based on my research, is not available in my area. I currently use Vonage VoIP. Their website mentions nothing about being able to link to Asterisk. I was wondering if any US subscribers have been able to configure Vonage

...sis. We're in the minority because we don't stoop to that level. In fact, I'm sure I'm very much hated because I'm the jerk who takes the time to try to explain things. In reality, I just give these people an excuse to say I'm "OT" -- but as I said, you can't chastize me without realizing all of the OT, snide and other non-technical comments we see regularly. I just have to use Linus and many others as examples, they stay focused on the source. They keep IBM from getting patents in the kernel, they question donations from other companies as well -- giving real...
