I''m using redcloth on my blog to transform my input into html. Alot of times if I type "I''ve" I''ll wind up with "I,ve" except that it''s not a comma but a very similar charecter. I am trying very hard to get Elder scrolls oblivion working on playonlinux. I found out that a key factor in this is the GLSL setting. I have an applicaiton where I''m indexing content in a number of languages, all encoded in UTF8. I would think that having my locale set to en_US.utf8 would be sufficient to make this work in ferret/acts_as_ferret, but I keep running into problems, even with english text.
