Case Sensitive Problem in SMBFS mount

It might not be Samba at all. Look in your ~/.bash_profile,
~/.bashrc, and /etc/bashrc files for this line:
shopt -s cdspell
It causes the bash shell to "correct" minor misspellings, like a
lower case 't'.
