OpenVPN/SNOM 820: a review.
Hey, all. Got an SNOM 820 in the other day to kick the tires. As with
many phones, provisioning it was a bit of a PITA. The biggest problem, as
far as I could tell, was that their firmware just doesn't seem that
stable, and is sometimes hard to get to.
- I managed to corrupt the firmware twice; fortunately, instead of
bricking the phone, there's a fairly easy-to-use "rescue

hi,?
I'm working on a research project where we're looking at the changing resonances in femur bones during hip replacement operations. basically, I've got a spreadsheet with one column listing frequencies in 5Hz bands and 3 columns showing the amplitude of that frequency when the bone is loose, medium to tight (referring to the tension of the reamer/chisel creating a cavity for the

Writing a Quick Start Guide to Xapian
Google are holding a GSoC "Doc Camp" this year the week before the
annual mentor summit - the dates for Doc Camp are 17-21 October, and the
location is Google HQ in Mountain View, California, USA.
A major part of this will be several Book Sprints for writing Quick
Start guides for specific organisations taking part in GSoC. They're
currently inviting proposals, and I'd like to

...Frequency Effects (LFE) channel. It is there
only for special effects such as explosions and
dinosaur footsteps. The channel's most
useful characteristic is therefore its extra
10 dB of headroom.
It is likely that humans localise very low
frequencies, but they probably use things like
chest cavities and not ears. However, this is
usually irrelevant because, in most listening
rooms, localisation of low frequencies is
screwed up by standing waves. And this is
why the typical listening room only needs one
sub-woofer.
As Brian pointed out, the other channels in
5.1 (or whatever) are all full...

comparition of occurrence of multiple variables between two dataframes
Hi C?line,
Looks like you are looking for a statistical test between two sets of
distributions, such
as KS test, for example, generate histogram for each row in an identical
way and run KS test.
But if you are after simple difference you may use compare package (
https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/compare/index.html).
Best,

SIL3114 and sparc solaris 10
Perhaps a bit off-topic (I asked on the rescue list --
http://web.archiveorange.com/archive/v/OaDWVGdLhxWVWIEabz4F -- and was
told to try here), but I am kinda shooting in the dark: I have been
finding online scattered and vague info stating that this card can be
made to work with a sparc solaris 10 box

comparition of occurrence of multiple variables between two dataframes
Do you have a simplified example with a code? It is not clear to me
what do you mean by tree but if you refer to tree data structure,
maybe you could change the data structure to tree
(https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/data.tree/vignettes/data.tree.html)
and try to write comparison of two tree objects. It might be easier
that data.frame alone.

comparition of occurrence of multiple variables between two dataframes
Hi everyone, I need your help to solve a problem with occurrence and two dataframes.
I have an excel table of 15200 lines. Each line correspond to a tree analyzed for its structures. I have all the structures in columns (48 structures). The occurrence of these structures has been counted on every tree. For example, the tree 12607 has 3 structures CV11, 1 structure IN12 and none (0) of the rest of

Tables with Graphical Representations
Hi useRs -
I was wondering if anyone out there can tell me where to find R-code
to do mixes of tables and graphics. I am thinking of something
similar to this:
http://yost.com/information-design/powerpoint-corrupts/
or like the excel routines people are demonstrating:

My aim is to provide small graphics to illustrate
