QoS for Voip.
...in the
other class. When the voip traffic starts, there is a inicial delay
untill the 1:20 class starts to free bandwidth to the 1:10 class, as
I''ve noticed. Should I change the burst and cburst parameters to get a
better response or just make de queues smaller?
Thanks.

Difficulties with filtering based on TOS byte
...they were now
sent to the correct queue. No problems are presented when I place packets into
different queues based on a source address or a port number.
Has anyone else experiences problems like this or know what might be causing it?
Its very frustrating.
Thanks in advance.

Too stupid to figure out shaping
First I''ll confess my sins, then I''ll beg for help.
I own a small wireless ISP, and I sell service at three levels, 256kb/s,
384kb/s, and 512kb/s. For about 18 months, I thought I had this bandwidth
limiting figured out. I had three HTB classes off the root, one each with
the limits above. Since each customer has a single IP address, I used
iptables to mark packets

limiting bandwidth on iface

Hi there!
Well, as an exercise, I try ''simulating'' an adsl link (just the speed ;o))
with a GRE tunnel and HTB for bandwidth limiting. Typically in germany
adsl has about 1024kbit downstream and 128kbits upstream (yes, there are
others ;) but these are what I have) - which are the values i try to simulate.
Here is the snipped that

Re: Problems routing mail to particular interface
Is the 192.168.1.2 an ip on the router? If yes, you''ll have to mark in
OUTPUT, not PREROUTING, also, after you set up the rules and routes,
did you an
ip route flush cache
?
I hope these works

ESFQ?
Hi again,
I was just looking around for ESFQ sources, and I see that the main site
is down, and only has kernel 2.6.4 patches.
Is ESFQ maintained? If so, where can I find patches for 2.6.10?
Thanks,
-justin
