astcc: need partial pin code
...number: <user enters the destination phone number> Is there a code snip available for that? Keyin needs always more time, we need to allow longer spaces between the digits, therefore we need to allow the # to finish the dialstring faster. I wonder if we can use one dialstring for all: cardnumber*pin*destination-number How can a user end the call and dial a new number, without hanging up? The user has usually a desk phone (=card number), and this dialin should work parallel, but of course it assumes still that only one card is in use. bye Ronald Wiplinger

running a ruby expression stored in a database
Is this even possible? I''ve got a ruby expression stored in a database, it''s the code to run a plugin since I was having trouble passing variables stored in the database. When I try to call the code, it either outputs it as text, or doesn''t display it at all. It''s supposed to generate an image and display it. right now the code is stored in the database as:

Does anyone have recommendations on payment processors that offer monthly billing services? I don''t want to go the paypal route as I want the user to stay on the site. I''m hoping to find an API to integrate with. I have

[OT] The bad idea that is storing Credit Cards in your database
Hello Railists and Rubyists, I know that the topic of handling credit card numbers has been expounded before on this list (I''ve searched the archives) but I want to ask the question in a slightly different way, and get your feedback: Previous discussions on the list center around what to do with the card number *after* you have processed the credit card with a payment gateway
