CentOS 8 and DELL 7540 Intel AX200 WIFI
Hello all,
I recently bought a brand new Dell Precision 7540 laptop.? Before buying
I checked the specifications from the RedHat hardware list and they said
that it was "fully RedHat 8 Certified" and listed all the hardware that
was "certified" to work with that laptop.

Intermittent T.38 pass through
Hi All,
I've been testing reliability with t.38 faxing pass through with * 1.4.21.1,
Linksys ATA's 2102 x 2, Sharp UX-B800SE and Cannon ImageClass D880.

Can't get pictures off camera
Hi,
I'm trying to download some pictures off my camera and I keep getting
an error. This used to work at some point although I can't say when.
The camera is a Cannon EOS and I plug it in to a USB port and turn it
on and I get a dialog box with a title of "Cannon Digital Camera"
saying "You have just inserted a medium with digital photos...blah
blah...".

Hey-this is almost certainly not the right place in this thread to respond,
but this thread has gotten so deep evolution can't push the subject further to
the right, heh. So I'll just respond here.

Printing NT to Linux w\Cannon bjc-4000
I am able to see my printer as a share. Well better put, I see four
representations of my printer: ascii, lp2, lp-mono, and raw. I tried
the naive thing and just selected lp2 and added the cannon bjc 4000
driver for NT. This didn't work. I get an error report:

Ok, I have an update to this problem. I added the nouveau list because
I can't quite tell if the issue is:
- the PCIe changes that went in 5.6 I think (or 5.5?), referenced below
- a new issue with thunderbold on thinkpad P73, that seems to be
triggered if I have a USB-C yubikey in the port. With 5.7, my issues
went away if I removed the USB key during boot, showing an interaction

issue with 3.7.1p2
Hello,
I have recently download and compiled version 3.7.1p2 of openssh, but am
having authentication issues with it. I have been using 3.6.1p1 with no
problems. Both versions were compiled on the same Solaris 8 host. That
host uses ldap for its name service. Both were compiled using the same
openssh config options:
--prefix=/opt/openssh --with-pam --with-zlib=/opt/openssh/lib
However, the

cannonical open source rails apps?
What do you think are the best examples of open source rails apps?
I keep a copy of typo trunk around just to look at the code to see
how they''ve solved a problem. Do you know other apps that you
consider particularly well written?
Thanks

Re: Cannon Fodder 3
Hey there...
I can install and run the game on ubuntu 11.10.
Try using PlayOnLinux to guide you through the instalation process. It's easyer that way.
Also install winetricks since you're going to need the DirectX, vcredist 2005 at least.
Also if you have an NVIDIA card, install the NVIDIA drivers instead of the proprietary ones.
Good luck

Take 2 at bouncing this to the rest of the original recipients through a
different MTA, since mail.zytor.com refused to accept it the first time.

find canonic host name
I am concerned about the code under the comment
/* Find canonic host name. */
in ssh.c. This replaces the hostname entered by the user with the
cannonical name determined by getaddrinfo, causing the new name to
be used henceforth. This includes connecting to the host, and
finding its public key in a known_hosts file.
getaddrinfo seems (on Debian GNU/Linux 2.2, GNU libc 2.1.3) to look

Rio Karma mini review
Hello everyone,
Stopped by Best Buy last night and picked up a Rio Karma. Since
from-the-trenches reviews seem scarce, I thought I might post some
thoughts.
The short story: I'm probably returning it, will be buying a
different portable player. The software doesn't work, and I don't think
I wanna screw with it.
The long story: It looks cool, is tiny,
