Conflict between LDAP and Privilege Separation?
Hi all. OpenSSH_4.1p1, OpenSSL 0.9.7g 11 Apr 2005 on Solaris 8 using host-based authentication. With "PrivilegeSeparation yes" and "UsePAM no" everything works as desired. If I enable PAM, I am able to connect, but just before it gives me a shell, it disconnects. If I leave PAM enabled and disable PrivilegeSeparation, it works. Is this a current limitation, or is there

Problem with X tunneling, su, and xauth
Hi all. I'm trying to use ssh to connect from a PC (using TerraTerm with the ssh add-in) to a Solaris 8 or Solaris 9 box (both running OpenSSH 3.7.1p2) to establish a session for X-forwarding. Everything works great, until I use "su" to change to another account (such as root). The su'd user doesn't seem to be able to authenticate properly to use the X-tunnel. I did a

[Bug 69876] [NVC3] Reverse prime sometimes freezes the machine
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=69876 --- Comment #12 from Mike <michele.cane at gmail.com> --- I dropped Gnome and I now use Compton as compositor and the problem is no more present. I do not know if is due to newer kernel 3.16 or is a compositor related issue. Cheers Michele Cane, PhD. Sent from my Android device. On Aug 21, 2014 11:25 PM, <bugzilla-daemon at

discount <markdown in C>
I've written an implementation of Markdown in C, for people like me who shout BAH! and wave their canes at modern programming languages. (I needed a decent markup language for my website and weblog, and didn't want to have to install any new programming languages on the machine.) Discount <http://www.pell.portland.or.us/~orc/Code/discount> has been in production for the past two and

However when I upgraded to 2.4.0 it no longer works as desired. See http://ca.geocities.com/jrkrideau/R/gantproblem.pdf for the two charts. The charts were produced

interpreting anova summary tables - newbie
Hello, Apologies if this is the wrong list, I am a first-time poster here. I have an experiment in which an output is measured in response to 42 different categories. I am only interested which of the categories is significantly different from a reference category. Here is the summary of the results: summary(simple.fit) Call: lm(formula = as.numeric(as.vector(TNFa)) ~ Mutant.ID, data =

can i get .spec file for apache httpd of centos?
Hi All, Currently my system is using httpd 2.2.27. As there were many Vulnerability fixes released under 2.2.29, I would like to upgrade the Apache httpd. My system is having CentOS 6.5. I checked on CentOS Repos using yum but could not find the latest httpd rpm from there. So I am building the httpd rpm from the source tar ball downloaded from apache site. Conventions: Use of globals and main functions
>?That beeing said I think the main task of scripts is to get things done via running them end to end in a fresh session. Now, it very well may happen that a lot of stuff has to be done. Than splitting up scripts into subscripts and sourcing them from a meta script is a straightforward solution. It might also be that some functionality is put into functions to be reused in other places. This
