Hi, I am using rpart decision trees to analyze customer churn. I am finding that the decision trees created are not effective because they are not able to recognize factors that influence churn. I get an echo when going from a SIP phone to a PRI trunk. I hear the echo on the SIP phone. From reading some other post I think that I need to tell me phone company to turn on echo canceling. If the echo was on the other end than it would be my problem? Is this right? What exactly should I say to my phone company so they know exactly what I'm talking about? -- Michael Sampson

Hi I have a Panasonic TDA600 conected with one E1 to the pstn and one PRI with my Asterisk using a Digium TE220B card. The Panasonic is master clock and Asterisk is slave, additionally the Panasonic takes the clock from the PSTN E1. This scheme works and I?m able to make and receive calls the problem is that some times the Asterisk lose the synchronism with the Panasonic and the log shows this

Hi, I've had some decent luck with the mark3 echo canceller from the zaptel driver, echos on about 20% of the calls, people I've called say I sound great now, but our side hears echos. I was wondering if there was any way to tweak the current software cancelers into using more CPU (and hopefully doing a better job, close to a hardware canceler), I only have 10 lines, and a single call takes 0.5% cpu, I would have no problem if it went up to 5-10% if they would work better. Or should I just give up now and buy the channel bank, tellabs hardware echo cance...
