Anyone Installed a Digium TE110P or TE120P card in Canada?
The Telco in Canada is been real painful. I was wondering if anyone has
installed a Digium TE1X0P card in Canada and if their Telco was so
difficult.
The Telco will not provide us a service until they see a FCC or DOC
number for the equipment ware are connecting to their service.
If have found "FCC Part 68, ANSI/ITA-968-A, Including Amendment A1 and
A2 Industry Canada CS-03"

Trunk/Peering provider in Canada
Hi,
Anyone know any decent trunk provider in Canada that can offer multiple
channel trunks (16channels) via IAX or Sip trunking? Having some pleasant
experience with IAXTEL out of Denver, though they don't offer services into
Canada.
Please let me know

We have our * box down at our datacentre in St Louis, and whenever we
call it from a Bell Canada Telephone line, all we see is '' for the CID.
I did some digging on google and the mailing lists and couldn't find
anything pertaining directly to Bell-Canada and * CID, but didn't find
much. I did however find :

How do I get DIDs for remote areas in Canada
I want the ability to setup DIDs in a variety of different remote locations
in Canada. There are various providers that have DIDs in major cities, but
none that focus on the "smaller" cities.
The question is how do I actually setup these DIDs?
Thanks,
Geoff

Coloring Canada provinces (package maps?)
Dear R'ers,
I am wondering what is the smallest geographicterritorial unit
available for formatting in Canada. Provinces?
I know that in the US it is the county so that I can color US
counties any way I want, for example:
### Example for coloring US counties
### Creating an ARTIFICIAL criterion for coloring US counties:
library(maps)
allcounties<-data.frame(county=map('county',

possible bug in vars package (predict.varest) ???
hello,
I have been trying to use the predict function in the vars package to
forecast from a seasonal VAR model. The following code sample illustrates
what I am trying to do and the error that I get when trying to do it.
I run the following code, that results in the following error:

endoC <- Canada[1:72,1:3]
exoC <- Canada[1:72,4]
var.2c <- VAR(endoC, p = 2,

DID in Western Canada
Hello,
I'm having trouble getting finding a company that
provides DID in Western Canada. More specifically in
Edmonton, Alberta.
We have tried getting in contact with Link2Voip and
Calgary Telecom but neither seems to be answering
their phones or email.
I would appreciate it if anyone can point me in the
right direction.
Thank you,
Nelson

OT: Canada's Primus introduces SIP localservice
I am sure Primus has a SIP platform because we have played with it. We
managed to use it on MSN's SIP phone as well as couple Zultys ZIP2x2
hard phones. Their PC-Phone app is also a SIP soft phone. If you are
registering to sip.iprimus.net then it is definitely their SIP platyform
not MGCP.

Bell Canada (Nortel DMS100) PRI Outbound CNAM issue
Hi Folks,
I'm trying to send CallerID Name information out to the PSTN via a PRI
with Bell Canada with no success. With inbound calls (originating from
the PSTN) CNAM is received successfully, and we've not had any similar
problems with other Telco PRIs, so I'm stumped.

Any interest in a Canadian Asterisk mailing list?
Just on the off chance that Canadian Asterisk users might be
interested in a place to discuss topics specific to the "great

the asterisk-canada mailing list:
