Ayuda sencilla (SQL)
Hola Necesito algo simple pero no logro resolverlo en R: contar elementos distintos (unique) pero agrupados. En SQL sería: SELECT Camara, count(DISTINCT(Laboratorio)) as Lab FROM [datos] GROUP BY Camara.

creating script for init.d
Hello. I'm moving from a very old Fedora Core 1 to CentOS 4.4, what a change!! Three year ago, I wrote some script (network related) and worked very well. Now, I can put into init.d by means of chkconfig and I restarted the system, but always hang when executing my srcipt (in my new centos 4.4). There a manual for making scripts for init.d? there is some new requirement by which it does not

Carl, are you saying that I need ices2 for two mount points? I don't have an ices-playlist.xml file, I only have an /etc/icecast2/Icecast.xml file. title streaming with ices
Unfortunately I am still using ices0 because our streams are mp3 streams. I looked at switching to ogg but many of our listeners have specialized players in devices such as Braille notetakers and other accessible devices that don't work with ogg streams. This station has 7 streams and runs on a linux server. Also to my knowledge Stream Licensing doesn't pick up ogg streams very well

Best source for creating multiple streams
Hi there. I'm trying to find a way to create multiple streams with one source client. Each of the streams should read from a different playlist file and randomly pull and play songs from the file. I know how to do this with a single stream with clients such as IceS and Ezstream, but I don't see a way to specify different playlists for each mountpoint. I was wondering if anyone had any

rgl movimiento

title streaming with ices
I have been using ices2 for a few years to send several streams to an Icecast 2.4.1 server (both on Linux machines). All of the streams use a playlist. All of my streams contain Artist, Title, Album, Date/Year, and Track number when they arrive at the player as long as the file being streamed contains the information. I have checked all of my streams with Win amp (Windows), Audacious (Windows,

On the way towards scanning - further hints?
...uld be able to scan (and which are running fine otherwise): ABBYY FineReader 7.0 (OCR) Irfanview 4.10 (image viewer) Photoshop CS (of course, Photoshop). In Photoshop's dialogue 'File - Import' I find 'snapscan:libusb:002:002' among others (there is also an entry for gphoto2 camaras), but when I choose the scanner, I get a Photoshop alert saying there was a problem with the scanner. Below you find the corresponding console output with WINEDEBUG=+loaddll. The other apps mentioned behave in a similar way. Are there any hints to go further, or should I just sit and wait for...

Regarding R's png device in linux
Hi, I am a developer from Oracle. I wanted to create a png file out of png device with a bit depth of 8. I am using R on linux. But I noticed that R automatically switches between 8 and 24 bit depth. i tried a lot of things from your grDevices package but unable to control the bitdepth. I would be really grateful to you guys if you can suggest me some way to solve this issue. -/Ag Anshul Gupta
