hey,
i have this problem
in the database i have 32 records
and the sql filtered 4 records
#getting the callerid records depending on the given paramaters and paginate it
@callerid_pages = Paginator.new self, CallerId.count, 10, @params[''page'']
@caller_ids = CallerId.find(:all, :conditions =>["geotags.firm_id = ? ",

caller_id vs cid_number
Are these both caller id presentation related? If not, which on is
currently being used. Finally, is there a "latest" sip_peers table
structure to use with 1.8, without the obvious hacks, deprecations.
and redundancies?
Thanks in Advance,
Nick.

When I add '_206XXXXXXX,1,Goto(demo,s,1)' I can get it to work.
This is going to be for an IVR application not a PBX. So, numbers are
routed down the trunks and the machine picks up and runs the application
assigned to the DNIS that came down the line. And, I am getting the
right ANI (CALLER_ID) and DNIS (Number Called). Problem is that if I
have to configure every DNIS, or a pattern for them, I cant have a fall
through.
Is this how it is supposed to behave? From all the docs I can find, it
doesn't seem so. Seems to me that the s extension in [default] should
work. What are other peo...

Destination number
Hello:
I need to prepare some detailed stats from asterisk, and I'm asked to show
data I don't know how to obtain it: It's the 'final' number (don't know
what's its name)
In the stats I have to show the caller_id (I have it), the called_id (I have
it) and the final number that actually accepted the call.
In extensions.conf file, I try to pass the call to several numbers in
sequence so if one line is busy or doesn't answer I pass it to the next one.
I have to know who answered the call, how can I do t...

Problems with MACRO_EXTEN variable
...DNUM}=${EXTEN:4})
exten => _*67*X.,2,Hangup
exten => #67#,1,DBdel(CFBS/${CALLERIDNUM})
exten => #67#,2,Hangup
On the older version everything works fine, MACRO_EXTEN changes the
callerid of a redirected call as it is supposed to. But with newer
version, it messes up the name part of the CALLER_ID. On Snom phones,
that show number and name, total crap is displayed instead of name. Same
crap gets put into MYSQL database into CLID column. * cli debug shows
nothing weird. CVS-HEAD-11/18/04-10:01:32 Changelog says - -- Major
Caller*ID Restructuring, but doesn't explain the details. Can...

A question about Caller ID
Hi all,
Sorry if this is a little off topic, but I just want to know a thing here.
What system is used for sending out the caller's number in the US?
Here in Sweden we use DTMF to send the number out. I just need to know what is used in the US since I don't think I will be able to use an American caller ID device over here.
Many thanks for any info,
Christian

Asterisk/Panasonic PRI Integration
...; Set Response Timeout to 10 seconds
exten => _X.,1,Dial(Zap/g1/${EXTEN})
exten => _X.,2,Congestion
I had to use that config on the panasonic context as an Automated
Attendant because on other ways we receive incomplete and scrambled
digits from panasonic, and with this I don't know the caller_id of the
panasonic extension that made a call.
I would appreciate any idea about this.

SIP Gerenal settings conufsion
I have a little confusion about the general settings (other than the
register values) in the SIP
General area. I understand that for examle in a SIP context like [FWD]
or [BROADVOICE]
the entries in those areas are ths settings that take effect in any
communication woth FWD and/or BROADVOICE. However, I'm confused as to
the purpose of the
"general" settings -- to what or which
