ext2online with 1k blocks not working
...like:
ext2online v1.1.18 - 2001/03/18 for EXT2FS 0.5b
ext2online: 873646830 is a bad size for an ext2 fs! rounding down to 873644033
...
group NNN inode table has offset 2, not 2475
...
checking for group block NNNN in Bond
found 2218 not 2474 at 3513[168]
ext2online: unable to resize /dev/cciss/c0d0p3
And exit error code is 3.
I verified on a test system that ext2online works perfectly well in same situation with 4k blocks.
Any ideas?

capture xen & dom0 serial output in HP ILO''s virtual serial port
...m, but combined with Xen it seems to go
haywire :-)
So far I''ve been combining options and the only thing that actually
gave me some output (albeit only the Xen console, not dom0) was this:
menu.lst:

kernel /xen.gz com1=115200 sync_console
module /vmlinuz-xen root=/dev/cciss/c0d0p3 splash=0
console=ttyS0,115200 console=tty
module /initrd-xen
The dump I got told me:
(XEN) Xen is auto-sensing VGA console.
(XEN) *** Serial input -> DOM0 (type ''CTRL-a'' three times to switch
input to Xen).

Hi,
i want to install a WinXP as vm, but it won''t work. "xm list" tells me
that the winxp-vm is running, but I am not able to connect via vnc. nmap
tells me that there is no vnc-port listening and ps -A tells me that
qemu-dm does not work. Maybe someone could help me because i have no
idea what''s wrong..
System: Debian Lenny

Question re: CentOS-6.0, KVM, and /dev/sr0
I am experimenting with KVM and I wish to create a virtual machine
image in a logical volume. I can create the new lv without problem
but when I go to format its file system then I get these warnings:
Warning: WARNING: the kernel failed to re-read the partition table
on /dev/sda (Device or resource busy). As a result, it may not
reflect all of your changes until after reboot.

Ubuntu HVM installation is very slow
Hi Everyone,
I am trying my hands on xen under Solaris SXCE build 113. The machine has
the following configuration:
2 Quad Core Xeon CPUs
16 GB RAM
Solaris SXCE b113
4 disks - 2 mirrors x 2 stripes under ZFS
The problem is that xen HVM is very slow. I am using the following command
to create an Ubuntu 9.0.4 test vm.
virt-install -n test1 -r 2048 --vcpus=2 -f /vdatapool/data/test1.img -s 50
