Since the xenified kernel that came with FC4 didnt work, I compiled a xen-unstable enabled kernel for FC4. all was fine untill it gave me a ''unable to open an initial console'' I tried to make an initrd for my xen0 kern but it didnt work. So I tried using the old initrd image that I had and Dom0

journal has aborted
All, We are encountering spurious errors with ext3. After some period of heavy IO we may see messages similiar to: EXT3-fs error (device cciss/c0d0p5) in start_transaction: Journal has aborted When this happens the filesystem is remounted read-only. If it's the root filesystem the system becomes unresponsive and must be rebooted. An fsck on the affected filesystem shows lots of corruption.

3.5 kernel panic on boot
Yes, I know 3.5 is old. However in this case it's required for a legacy app. a fresh install get's me: kmod: failed to exec /sbin/modprobe -s -k block-major-104, errno = 2 followed by: VFS: Cannot open root device "cciss/c0d0p2" or 68:02 The system is an HP DL380 G4. any thought on what could cause this? the rescue system is able to mount the disk and grub-install works to re-install grub on the device. Is this typical memory usage?
I have xen 3.04 running on SLES10SP1. It''s working great, but I''m wondering if I have some memory issues with dom0. I have 7 domU''s, 1 is win2k, the other 6 are win2k3. I''ve had a lot of machines up and down with a reboot of dom0 in quite a while. I''m wondering if dom0 has not given up memory during the process. I added 5 win2k3 domU''s today.

Automatically detecting LUNs without a reboot
Hi everybody. I have an HP StorageWorks array connected to one of my servers, connected via an LSI controller (lspci reports: SCSI storage controller: LSI Logic / Symbios Logic SAS1068E PCI-Express Fusion-MPT SAS (rev 08)) on an HP DL385 running CentOS 5.5 x86_64. I have set up multipath and all is working but, when I create a snaphost and export it as a new LUN from the HP web interface, it
