questions about nls
Dear R users,
I am new in R and I want to use the nls package to analyze some
experimental data. The data is in the attached file "data". It is the
response "Sav" measured at different "C0". Basically, the "C0" is a
function of C1, K2, and r, and the "Sav" is a function of C0, C1, K2,
and r. The math equations are shown in the attached file"equations".
The parameters K2 and r are the physical properties I want to get from
the non-linear regression...

bootstrap function coefficients
Dear R community,
Please, can you help me with a problem concerning bootstrap. The data table
called «RMika», contained times (Tps) and corresponding concentration of a
chemical in a soil (SolA). I would like to get, by bootstraping, 10
estimations of the parameters C0 and k from the function: SolA =
C0*exp(-k*Tps).

I'm trying to figure out why the presence of a Fortran call affects the
result of a floating-point operation. I have C functions

double c0;
c0 = (double) *n * *f;
outC = floor(c0);

Need help to understand integrate function
Hi,
I'm running into a wall when trying to use the integrate function. I
have the following setting:
powerLaw2 <- function(x,l1,l2,c0,t0) {
idx <- which(x <= 0);
if (length(idx) > 0) {
x[idx] <- 0;
}
xl <- (-l1+l2)*log(x/t0);
L <- log(c0)-l1*log(x)-log(1+exp(xl));
L <- exp(L);
return(L);
}
plCDF2 <- function(x,l1,l2,c0,t0) {

Let me tell you, I know how bad an Exchange server gets when it is
accessable from the Inet.. We have been working 20hr days for a week
straight to clean up that mess.. I would suggest you re-think that approach.

distribution of the product of two correlated normal
Hi,
Does anyone know what the distribution for the product of two correlated
normal? Say I have X~N(a, \sigma1^2) and Y~N(b, \sigma2^2), and the
\rou(X,Y) is not equal to 0, I want to know the pdf or cdf of XY. Thanks
a lot in advance.
