tinc using docker containers
I've recently built a docker container to easily install and configure tinc 1.1pre14 in any machine using docker containers. I've created a Github repo in https://github.com/bys-control/docker-tinc I'm working in a WEB based admin interface for managing tinc daemons. Right now it's just a JSON API for tinc, but I'm working in developing the front end. Any comments/contributions are welcomed Happy holidays! -- *Ing. Guillermo Bisheimer* *B&S Sistemas d...

Below is tinc.conf for main node *tinc.conf* Name = main Interface = tun0 Forwarding = kernel and the remote nodes have same with ConnectTo = main. I have tried to apply a basic iptable policy on the main node but the traffic still seems to passthough and the nodes can communicate with each other. How do I

Docker container for Raspberry Pi
Hi everybody. Just wanted to mention that I've published a docker image of tinc 1.1pre15 for the raspberry pi 2/3. It was compiled from source on a raspberry 3 and published as byscontrol/tinc-rpi <https://hub.docker.com/r/byscontrol/tinc-rpi/> along witht the configuration instructions. The latest tag refers to 1.1pre15 only, but I can publish other versions as well if needed. Hope it's useful for someone. -- *Ing. Guillermo Bisheimer* *B&S Sistemas de Con...

converting stata's by syntax to R
...rvation for which wt is a maximum, and where this doesn't identify a unique observation, to keep just one anyway, not caring which. Those observations are indicated above by keep==1. (Note, keep <- c(1,1,1,0,0,1,0) would be fine too, but not c(1,1,1,0,0,0,1)). The stata code I would use is bys fam (wt): keep if _n==_N This is my (long-winded) attempt in R: # first keep those rows where wt=max_fam(wt) maxwt <- by(dat, dat$fam, function(x) max(x[,2])) maxwt <- sapply(maxwt,"[[",1) maxwt.dat <- data.frame("maxwt"=maxwt,"fam"=as.integer(names(maxwt))) d...

virtio_blk: Clarification for communication difficulties?
...t; can be still constructive, can't it? I can understand why others are fed up with this discussion. Your communication style is exhausting and you've pushed into the territory where any benefits of taking the patches are not worth the time and hassle of dealing with you. I left Reviewed-bys on two patches. Maybe they will get picked up. But please think again about what Christian explained. Reviewers and maintainers spend time on your patches so make it worth their while. Stefan
