Samba 1.9.18p8
Hello Samba Gurus,
I am running FreeBSD 2.2.6-STABLE and Samba 1.9.18p8.
I am unsucessful in logging into the server (from Windows or UNIX using
smbclient).
I turned the logging to level 10. Here is my info:
When I start samba 1.9.18p8:
su-2.01# more /var/log/samba.log
lp_file_list_changed()
file /usr/local/samba/lib/smb.conf -> /usr/local/samba/lib/smb.conf last

cpu requirements
What kind of cpu requirements can we expect for decoding and playing a
flac encoded file. I'm not getting very good results with my pentium
166/50M ram that I use to decode/play mp3s on my stereo. It's almost
enough, but I get small glitches at about 10 second intervals. Any
suggestions to help speed it up?
Keep up the good work, and thanks!

cue generation under linux and cdrdao
Greetings,
I really love the one flac per cd idea. So, I pulled all my cds out of
storage to re-encode them. I've run into a couple of general issues
here:
I've done some comparisons between eac under windows, and cdrdao under
linux. It seems that after converting the cdrdao data to .wav, both
programs result in perfectly identical .wav files for the 3 cds I
tested. However,

flac ogg quicktime iTunes
Hello,
I'm going to start by asking something that has probably been asked
before (although I didn't see it on the lists at sourceforge). Is
anyone working on getting iTunes to work with flac?
I'm bouncing around a few ideas and it seems like the logical approach
would be to write a quicktime component using this project as a base

WINS replication with MS
Hi ppl,
Are there any plans to implement WINS replication with MS NT?
Our sister company who are running NT want to replicate with us who are running samba, which
basically means we'll have to install an NT server just for the job.
Also it would be useful when using the 'dns proxy' to be able to specify which domain on the server
is used as the default, i.e. if /etc/resolv.conf
