Samba4 Centos 7 - CPU 100%
...e things up but im thinking.. dbdir=/usr/local/samba.PDC/dbdirwhat is the size of this dir. what is the size of the ad db dir on every server now. i think, something in the old db import causes a resyncwhen you modify something in the db  so i suggest try monitoring, disk io and cpu, look for buzzy files.  if we know the files, we know the processes using it. if one all servers the same files are buzy.  then maybe you found an unknown bug. the old db came from which  samba version, tell about the old setup, did you use a ldap backend for example? maybe a post of your old config can be handy...

"New" TDM cards--driver won't load
I've searched the site with google, but can't think of the magic words I guess. I got a "swap out" TDM30 today to replace my buzzy one. I swapped it with the older one, swapped out the FXS modules, hooked it up to the computer's power supply, and booted, but the wcfxs driver won't load--it gives me the standard "Cannot init module" types of errors that happen when one tries to load drivers but they can...

Anyone else use Audacity for prompts?
I am using Audacity to record some voice prompts. The .wav files I'm producing are of stellar quality. However, once I turn them into .gsm, they sound buzzy and muffled. I know that some of this comes with the territory, but I wonder if there is anyone out there who does this routinely, and who can advise me as to the MO I could use that results in the highest quality in the resulting playback files. Thanks. B.

Riding the Rails to acquisition
...bet at least 40% of you are working on ideas for startups...hoping that you just might have the next Flickr, Oddpost, del.icio.us, etc. Me too, for what it''s worth. Rails is good for this, in that it enables you to move quickly (after the learning curve) and it''s currently buzzy, which will lend your startup a certain amount of press and blog buzz right out of the gate, if your app is of any value at all. As an entrepreneur in the current tech landscape, what is the end goal? I posit that there are two things that could ideally happen to a startup: create a profit...

24/96 ?
Hi people, looking around for a new audiocard, my eye fell on the M-audio audiophile 2496. It has 4 digital in/out and is 24bit, 96kHz. The sound quality is very good, if I can believe the reviews. <p>My question is: can vorbis do 24bit, 96kHz ? -- --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/ To unsubscribe from this list,

idmap limit?
Hi, yes, there are some things. But I have not found a nice complete documentation. One main point is the domain name as prefix of the username of the parent domain, e.g. "DOM\user1", you have to use. I was not able to get rid of it, as the client is member of the subdomain which is the default. So you can't use the "default domain" option in smb.conf. The backslash

Changes to Folder Redirection
So, what is the difference between "Using Group Policy Folder Redirection" and "Using a Group Policy Preference"? Is it an either/or and _NOT both_ scenario? Clearly the ". . . Policy Preference" is editing the registry settings of each workstation with a GPO. Something the " . . . Policy Folder Redirection" does not do. Is not "Using a Group
