Samba clients can't see partitions mounted via loop device from image files
...empty folder), the Linux box nevertheless
cannot umount it, because the umount command yields an error:
umount: /mnt/img2: device is busy
Does anyone know what is going wrong, and how to fix it,
so that the Windows machines can see the loop-device-mounted
partitions?

Wineconsole example?
Hello,
Is there a good example WINE configuration for running a simple console
program (using wineconsole)?
For example, the windows tree.com program?
I'm actually trying to run TLIB (version control software from Dave Burton
Systems, www.burtonsys.com ) under linux, and am so confused I want to start
with a working example first. I'm new to linux, tlib, and wine!
I know it can be done, because Dave Burton had it working, but lost his
notes.
I'm using Redhat 7.3 and 2002/10/7 RPMS. Should I be using the "tgz" or
"cv...

Try to learn how Clarion works and locks, was at the
http://www.clarionmag.com site, found a utility called testlock that they
had available for free download. Testlock is a program by www.burtonsys.com
that is wrote in c for windows to test file sharing and locking on network
servers.
I have been running testlk32(the 32bit version) with interesting results.
It consistently works ok by itself on either samba v.
It has a switch that lets it run so many tests and then wait for another
instance...
