join Samba 4 domain using likewise
Hi
I successfully joined a win 7 vm to a Samba 4 domain. I can log fine.
I'm now trying to add the server itself to the domain using likewise. It
does not let me. The errors are:

Can we start using std::to_string?
Hi all,
I tried to use std::to_string somewhere and one of the bots yelled at
me [1] because it couldn't find it.
Searching through the mailing lists reveals a long stream of fixup
patches trying to avoid std::to_string, but there are uses of it in
tree in the AVR and Hexagon backends, libFuzzer and the Gold plugin. I
can only imagine they got away with it because the particular bots

Asterisk 1.2 TDM24xx and B410P
We have an Ubuntu Dapper with 2.6.14 kernel, asterisk 1.2.14 debs from
http://pkg-voip.buildserver.net
When misdn stuff (misdn-init start) is not started, everything is fine,
our 8 FXO (Channel 1-8) 4 FXS (21-24) are working well.
If we start the misdn stuff (one card, port 1,2,3,4 in misdn-init.conf
and no TELCO cable plugged in the card), the dialtone disappear on TDM
lines :-(

Recent debian packages?
Hi,
I'd like to use the convenience of apt packaging, but debian sarge's
default asterisk is something like 1.0.7.
Are there any apt repositories which provide newer versions of the software?
Thanks!

Configuring Sangoma BRI with zaptel?
Hello,
there has been a post to this list somewhere arount april which said
that it is possible to use a Sangoma BRI A500 card with zaptel and
asterisk bristuff. That is, without sangoma_brid and sangoma_mgd daemons
and without woomera channels.
Could anybody give me a short hint how to configure this?
I tried wanpipe-driver + zaptel + asterisk-bristuffed, but I couldn't

Can we start using std::to_string?
I'm fairly sure the problem is that we still support building with gcc
4.8.x, and that version of gcc did not have std::to_string. It is not
just an NDK issue.

Asterisk status in Debian
Hello,
This is a update on the current status of Asterisk in Debian.
Apologies for the really long mail, it is targetted both to users and
maintainers :)
I'm Ccing asterisk-users as a one-time thing; users that are interested
can subscribe to our list[1] for updates to prevent noise on a
non-Debian list. Please Cc pkg-voip-maintainer on replies.

auto-creating a local yum cache?
Hey folks,
I just did an update on a system that is taking the better part of a day (
5.3 ---> 5.7 ) mainly due to file download times.
And I have 4 or 5 more systems to do.
I know I can create my own repository and then point them at it - but that
is difficult here because rsync is blocked (ggrrrrrr...)
Surely there must be a way to have yum on the first box automatically cache
everything
