Bluetooth (chan_btp): dialing external phone number through BTP/Zap when bluetooth device not present?
I sent the following message a few days ago, but never received a reply, so I thought I'd ask again.. Can anyone tell me how me to get asterisk to dial out a phone number using BTP when a bluetooth device is not detected? I can get BTP to dial to a SIP phone, but I can't get it to dial through a POTS phone line using the Zap interface.. I've tried putting the following under the clients section in /etc/asterisk/btp.conf: client =>user,00:12:34:56:78:90,Zap/4/123...

does anyone know anything about chan_btp or btpd?
I've tried posting a simple message twice, regarding using chan_btp to dial a phone number through a Zap interface, but I've received no answers, and I can't seem to figure out how to do what I want (which seems to be a pretty typical use of chan_btp - I mean, isn't it used to dial peoples' phone numbers when their bluetooth device is not present?)....

chrony configuration for secondary samba DC
...an entitled wind-bag approach. RP is willing to help get Samba running, and as part of that willingness, he wants you to use NTP only, not Chrony. So, you're welcome to use Chrony and see if you can make it work. But you can't do that AND demand that RP help you. If you want to use the BTP [bonehead time protocol] package - that's fine. It will be on your head to demonstrate how it works and see if you can convince the Samba team and others on the list to support your BTP package as "official." And if you fail, a reasonable person would go quitely into the night instead...

Ext3 & InterMezzo issue
Hi Stephen, We had some starvation/locks happening to us under very heavy load in two cases: - InterMezzo asked ext3 to do a journaled file write (for 1 block) essentially using ext3_write - similarly for truncate. These lockups went away when we started the transaction in InterMezzo and reserved somewhat more space than ext3 does. Any clues as to what this might be? Are the ext3

Hi All Does anyone know if one could use bluetooth on a cell phone with *? Would be nice to have your cell as an office phone combo. I heard that there is a bluetooth module for *? Multiple Line Appearances
Has anyone successfully implemented concurrent appearance of the same PBX extension on multiple SIP phones? When using Cisco 7960s under call manager, you can have several phones with the same line appearance, but the first user to seize a line makes it inaccessible to other phones. Under SIP operation it seems as though this is not possible, but we don't see group ringing definable for
