Hello group, I am trying to configure ldap backend to samba. My samba and ldap machines are on different machines. I am using samba3.0.22 and openldap-2.3.11. I got two smb.conf files. One in /etc/samba/smb.conf and another in /usr/share/doc/samba-3.0.22/examples/LDAP/smbldap-tools-0.9.1/smb.conf.
