[wifi] wifimgr for freebsd
Hi, I made a wifi script based on the wlanconfig in bsdinstaller.
here is the code:
https://github.com/gihnius/freebsd-wifi
I think we can make it more suitable for many devices and normal use.
Any idea to write a normal feature script to use freebsd wifi easily ?
and thanks to the author of wlanconfig.

Installing packages from 9.2 Release DVD
Dear All ,
In sysinstall , there are menu items to install packages from release DVD .
In bsdinstall , there is NO such package installation menu items .
Another problem is there is no any available information about this subject
in the Handbook installation pages ( at least I could not find any one one
) .
Is there any such available information link , and is there any possibility

FreeBSD 10.0-RC1 now available
The first RC build of the 10.0-RELEASE release cycle is now available
on the FTP servers for the amd64, i386, ia64, powerpc, powerpc64 and
sparc64 architectures.
* Please see the change list for an important note regarding the
bsdinstall(8) ZFS on GELI option.
The image checksums follow at the end of this email.
ISO images and, for architectures that support it, the memory stick images
are available here:
ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/releases/ISO-IMAGES/10.0/
(or any of the FreeBSD mirror sites).

FreeBSD 9 and PERC H200
...find any disks. I think there is a PR
about the segfaulting (bad bug, no messages).
I worked around the problem by going to the loader prompt when the initial
boot choice screen came up; it's option 2. I gave the commands:
load mps.ko
boot
Install went fine. I had to create (last bsdinstall screen, shell option)
the file /boot/loader.conf, containing the single line:
mps_load="YES"
The system boots, and seems to be OK.
The 9.1-Release kernel does not contain the mps module, so the above
installs it, and the probe finds it as it should.
I hope this helps.

...ll also uses "-s" to indicate silence on an install rather than
stripping the binaries.
I decided at this point to simply do some serious Makefile hacking
to get `make install' to run without heed for Makefile.in.
I've seen packages that have included a "bsdinstall" command. That
may be necessary here.
Now, the adventure will be in RUNNING the daemon to see what happens. :)
Tally ho,

Creating custom iso with extra packages and scripts
I have been able to use the "make release" command to create a custom iso
for FreeBSD which includes some changes to the various bsdinstall scripts.
It all works well as the iso / memory stick images / ftp files are
generated and usable.
What I would now like to do is try adding couple of files, scripts and
packages to this custom iso. I am a little confused on where the files
should be placed to make it available to main install scri...

CFT: FreeBSD Package Base
FreeBSD Community,
I'm pleased to announce a CFT for builds of FreeBSD 12-stable and 13-current
using "TrueOS-inspired" packaged base. These are stock FreeBSD images which
will allow users to perform all updating via the 'pkg' command directly.
Rather than trying to answer all questions in this announcement, we've
created a FAQ page with more details. Please refer to
