Compiling app_cepstral.c into Asterisk - failing
.../usr/include/asterisk/file.h:57: error: syntax error before '*' token
In file included from app_cepstral.c:26:
/usr/include/asterisk/cli.h:32: error: syntax error before string constant
make[1]: *** [app_cepstral.so] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/asterisk/apps'
make: *** [bininstall] Error 1
[root@asterisk1 asterisk]#
Obviously I am not a programmer and I am trying to follow the instructions,
but I am not sure what I am doing wrong. If anyone has installed
app_cepstral.c successfully in asterisk and could tell me what I don't
understand, I would appreciate it.

Upgrade from 1.2.4 to 1.2.7.1
List,
I wish to upgrade from 1.2.4 to 1.2.7.1
I have downloaded & unzipped the file but how do I compile it?
Do I need to "make clean" then "make" and "make upgrade"?
Or "make" then "make install"?
Thanks,
William

failed make install on Solaris 10
...parc10.html#gcc33
Now though, when I issue the make install, I get this error:
mkdir -p /var/opt/asterisk/spool/system
mkdir -p /var/opt/asterisk/spool/tmp
mkdir -p /var/opt/asterisk/spool/meetme
install -m 755 asterisk /opt/asterisk/usr/sbin/
install: asterisk was not found anywhere!
make: *** [bininstall] Error 2
root@b-rz1-voicemail-2 #
I would prefer not to install everything manually if possible. Anyone have
any ideas how I get around this? Asterisk is clearly in the directory, but
for some reason Solaris can't pick it up.
Regards,
Joe
