network browserlist error(S)..
G'day.. just haveing the straingest problem.. I'd upgraded to the 302rc1 version. i configed it to be an pdc controller, with wins to manage our local domain.. only when browsing the domain list. it gives error(s) once in a while.. "An extended error has occured" & "the system cannot find massage text for message number 0x in the message file for \\hostname"

SAMBA IRIX Problem
Dear Experts, I have a problem with SAMBA version 2.0.3 and older. After a few hours of normal operation the workstation disappears from the browserlist but the printing function works normal an I can make a manual connection with the windows-explorer. After a reboot for one or two hours again I can see the workstation normal in the windows explorer. (See man smb.conf : Default: dns proxy = yes). For that i have 1 member running nmbd that is always online and provides the browserlist. Do note also, you dont need nmbs, if you set the "netbios resolving" through dns. Now this restricts you hostnames length, NETBIOS hostname's RFC is different then dns hostname RFCs.
