syslinux-3.36 and 3.35 compilation broke /dev/null
I have tested with 3.31 (does not broke /dev/null) and 3.35/3.36 that broke /dev/null I verify that /dev/null exist, then compile one of the target available on top Makefile and /dev/null no more exist. Example root:/usr/src/syslinux-3.36# cat /dev/null root:/usr/src/syslinux-3.36# make .depend Makefile:274: .depend: No such file or directory rm -f .depend for csrc in syslxmod.c gethostip.c ; do

[LLVMdev] commit r152019 broke architectures with more than 255 registers
Our architecture(TCE) can have LOTS of registers. It seems r152019 changed some register bookkeeping data structures to 8-bit. This broke support for architectures with >255 registers. Please revert this change or make those register-related values at least 16 bits wide.

5.4-->5.5 Upgrade broke OO 3.2.0
In order to get an OpenOffice configuration that is closer in compatibility with MS Office 2007, I removed the standard OO in 5.4 via yum and installed the latest (3.2.0) from OpenOffice.org. Ran that config for many months without a problem. However, when I allowed the upgrade to 5.5, OO broke. I finally had to remove all traces of OO 3.2.0, and start over. That worked...until yum tells me that

mountpoint_get broke the quota plugin
Looks like the new mountpoint_get code broke the quota plugin. I am getting this error when trying to start dovecot, using last night's CVS on Red Hat ES3: # service dovecot start Starting Dovecot Imap: Edlopen(/usr/lib/dovecot/imap/lib01_quota_plugin.so) failed: /usr/lib/dovecot/imap/lib01_quota_plugin.so: undefined symbol: mountpoint_get Error: imap dump-capability process returned 22784

autoupdate broke
When attempting to perform autoupdate after my 'autogen.sh' broke, it says that there is missing a file called: dovecot/core/doc/wiki/Makefile.am But in the Github repository, there is a misnamed file named "Makefile.am.in". I think this file is misnamed and should be renamed to "Makefile.am". https://github.com/dovecot/core/tree/master/doc/wiki

3.0.1pre1 broke my 'valid users' on one share
Before updating to 3.0.1pre1, the following smb.conf worked. Now when users try to hit the [broke] share they are denied access. Winbind has no problem finding the users and groups for the domain. I've verified filesystem permissions, "Domain Users" have full RW access. I do not seeing anything coming across my smbd log files. [global] security = DOMAIN workgroup = xxx

Fixed: 3.0.1pre1 broke my 'valid users' on one share
Setting 'winbind use default domain = no' and adjusting my share access to use the DOMAIN+ prefix fixed the problem. There must be some portions of samba which are not friendly with this option, yet. The main reason why I like this option being, when ADS user's login to my server via ssh they can use the username alone, instead of prepending 'DOMAIN+' -----Original

[LLVMdev] r98938 broke argument passing on MSP430?
Hello, Yesterday I noticed that MSP430 argument passing is broken in trunk; see http://llvm.org/PR6573 for details and testcases. The problem is that calls aren't being preceded by instructions that put the arguments into registers. I backtracked my working copy and then stepped forward until it broke between r98937 and r98938. Refining further, I found that rolling back the

Allowing clients to test their Sieve scripts
Hi, One thing which came up repeatedly is that clients using the IMAP server I run (using Dovecot 2.1) wonder whether they broke their Sieve scripts, i.e. it often goes like "I don't know whether I just didn't receive any mail, or whether my filters broke. Can you check the logs?". I then usually just run the sieve-test binary (part of the Pigeonhole distribution) and send them

[LLVMdev] r53212 broke LLVM on openbsd-4.3/gcc-3.3.5, patch.
Hi, The custom allocator-related changes committed in rev. 53212 broke LLVM build on openbsd-4.3 with gcc-3.3.5 (i386 and amd64). The attached patch fixes this. This looks like an issue with gcc-3.3.5, and I'm not sure if you guys will be wanting to support this compiler. Just sharing the patch hoping it helps someone. Regards, -Mahadevan. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text

r260758 broke windows build
Hello, I suspect that r260758 by kparzysz at codeaurora.org broke build the windows bots which are using Visual Studio 2013 or lower. This doc here specifies that the minimum version required is VS-2013: http://llvm.org/docs/GettingStarted.html#host-c-toolchain-both-compiler-and-standard-library I do see that the bots running VS-2014 or higher are green. Can we either revert the said commit or

update to cifs-mount-3.2.0-24.1.122 from .121 broke mount.cifs
Jerry, Jeremy, et. al. Last night's upgrade from cifs-mount-3.2.0-24.1.121 to cifs-mount-3.2.0-24.1.122 on a openSuSE 10.3 x86_64 machine broke mount -t cifs. Now attempting to mount shares results in the following: 11:10 alchemy/home/david/bin] # mount.cifs -v //nirvana/david /mnt/nirvana-david -o username=david,uid=1000,password=notmypass parsing options:

Broke ggplot...
It appears I broke ggplot in my script, but that maybe it is because the caffeine has worn off or maybe it is late in the day.   I thought I was beginning to understand ggplot, but I have encountered a silly little issue.   For some reason the following does not produce a histogram with fill due to the Person's characteristics: (Note that VADeaths_flat_df$Data works fine...)

W2K sp3 broke winbind
Hi all, I recently applied service pack 3 on all my domain controllers and disabled anonymous enumeration. This broke winbind. After reading some of the listings and looking at the log info from winbind I believed that winbind gets its user list by doing an anonymous request so I changed it back but I still doesn't work. I get a failure with every wbinfo command. Here is an excerpt from

It makes LLVM compile again on OpenBSD with gcc 3, and doesn't seem to cause any regressions.
