YALCSF (Yet Another Libao Configure Script Fix)
This patch fixes three problems with the current configure script: 1. Manual exclusion of drivers: Now you will be able to force drivers NOT to be compiled, even if they are detected. This was specifically requested with so that ALSA could be disabled. 2. Selecting the default device: Now you can override the default driver chosen by the script with your own preference. Again, this enhancement

Access to shares for authenticated domain users only
I am running several samba servers (2.2.3a and 2.2.7) in various places as pdcs. Everything seems to be running smoothly, but I can't find any way of restricting access to only those uses who have logged on to the domain. Is this possible? ie at the moment, any user can map a drive to \\server\share, put in a valid user/password pair and have access to that share without going through any

Securing tinc config files
I cannot use dynamic dns , the remote sites connect through 4G LTE and get assigned "Private Addresses" that are NATd to a Public Address. The LTE clients can only make connections outward to the Internet and features such as PAT and Dynamic DNS will not work. Therfor for these remote sites I need a Central Server Located on Internet to peer with in order for the Site to Site connection

Testing a FastAGI script
Hi, (I tried to post this message a week ago but I don't think it could reach the list. Please forgive me if you already received it). I would like to develop my first FastAGI script. I would like to test it independently from Asterisk for the sake of simplicity. Which linux (or cygwin) tool is the best for that ? Using this tool, I will open a FastAGI connection, throw data in and read

SAMBA as as printserver ..
Was looking for some quick advice on SAMBA as a printserver: I'm in the position of trying to "sell" my company on a Linux- based printserver to relieve the burden of handling 30+ printer spools off of our NT PDC (25 NT servers, and we're printserving off of our PDC .. don't ask me, I'm new here. =) With SAMBA 2.0.6, I have gotten SAMBA properly handling print requests

Access Files, unable to gain exclusive access to modify reports after first open of file.
I've searched all over the place and have tried all of the oplocking things in the "Official Samba-3 Howto and Ref. Guide", including all of the registry changes on the client. The problem is that every time we need to modify an Access Report (which requires exclusive access to the database), if the database has been PREVIOUSLY opened, will not allow us to gain exclusive access
