hfc-pci/zaphfc: Asterisk hangs with signalling bri_net_ptmp but not with bri_net
Please forgive me, if I misunderstand the problem completely.
Following instructions in several german blogs, I want to configure
Asterisk with a hfc-pci card, an old NTBA and an ISDN phone
as a SIP device.
It seems that I have to set signalling in zapata.conf to bri_net_ptmp.
When I do this, Asterisk will hang if started with -vvvvc, the last
lines of output being:
[res_features.so] => (Call Parking Resource)
== Parsing '/etc/asterisk/features.conf': Found
-- Registered extension context 'parkedcalls'

am not sure if that is OK to do, asterisk load...

ISDN: Inband DTMF doesn't trigger transfer feature
...day) which
runs a Junghans QuadBRI card [1].
To get this flying I got dahdi-linux, dahdi-tools and libpri from SVN as
well.
After a while of juggling it "works".
What doesn't work: connected ISDN devices (Gigaset phones connected to
QuadBRI with a port in NT mode, signalling via bri_net_ptmp) can not
transfer calls by pressing "#". SIP phones can.
I'm at a point where I can't even get *any* output to debug. I went
through the relevant configs as good as I can a couple of times but am
out of ideas. I'm guessing that this is somehow related to either

;signalling = bri_net_ptmp

quadbri NT_mode S-Bus Problem
...ing suddenly to busy when the other party is sending a busy signal. I'd
rather have the call progress send a busy signal right away.
2. Internal calls between to ISDN phones on the S-bus is not possible. The
phone rings but the call is dropped as soon as it is answered.
Can the signalling= bri_net_ptmp be the cause and how would I configure it
for bri_net?
Does anyone have a working configuration that overcomes thoses problems?

Ben

I865, HFC-S etc.
...de - works fine.
brustuff is 0.2.0-RC7k
Anybody knows what can be the reason ?
I used florz path - helped me to make zaphfc driver running with APIC turned
on. However NT mode didn't work @ all, maybe because of my asterisk was in a
different version than the florz path (RC7k , RC8a).
Putting bri_net_ptmp in config hanged up asterisk.
Probably this is a problem of different releases, however is there anybody
having asterisk package with bristuff RC8a for DEBIAN ? Or just a short
howto built it ?
Or maybe there is RC7k florz patch ? Building packages is not yet my strong
side ;-(

i've successfully installed the current bristuff, everything works fine,
exept one thing:
As soon as i pick up the phone that is connected to the bri-card, asterisk
jumps into
extension s of the context that is specified in zapata.conf, if i have
immediate=no then
i hear the normal dialtone for about 1/10 of a second.
Any hints what i'm doing wrong? If i dial the number

Dial internal phones problem - zaphfc
Sorry that I wrote in german :
Ich benutze asterisk mit dem zaphfc Treiber.
Jetzt hab ich folgendes Problem, habe 2 ISDN-Telefone angeschlossen.
zaphfc im nt-mode.
Anrufe von ausserhalb per sip (sipgate.de) kommen an.
Wenn ich aber intern zwischen den zwei Telefonen (Ascom Eurit 30) sprechen
m?chte geht das nur wie folgt :
Erst die Nebenstelle w?hlen und dann den H?rer am Telefon abnehmen.
