Passenger Best Practice
...ick server, to using passenger. I'd like to get an idea of how folk are running passenger? Ideally I'd like to keep everything rpm based, so would need ruby enterprise rpms, and then the mod_rails / passenger plugin? How are you folk doing it? I've seen: http://download.elff.bravenet.com/5/x86_64/repoview/mod_passenger.html And I've also seen: https://packages.endpoint.com/ Which seems to do some enterprise ruby. What else is out there? I'm more than happy to do it all myself, but if so it ought to be done in the way which best serves the project... So... what t...

Schemas and Migrations
Hello- I''m new to the ruby-based schemas and migrations. As I''m looking over examples and such online, I see that many of them don''t make use of schema-enforced attributes. For example, instead of: t.column "post_id", :integer, :default => 0, :null => false They do: t.column "post_id", :integer So I''m wondering -- is this

Hi, The CentOS 5.2 release notes contain this warning: "A kickstart installation that attempts to use the *repo* directive (where that *repo* points to an updates repository) may fail to properly install." This is exactly the method that I had been using with CentOS 5.1 :-) What is the right way to achieve this now? Is adding a repository in the %post section of the kickstart file and

kickstart install on SAN with multipath
Using CentOS 5.1, though with a few hours work I could update to 5.2.. I can install to SAN with a single path no problem but I'd like to be able to use dm-multipath. From the kickstart docs it seems this is supported but there is no information as to what the various options mean http://www.centos.org/docs/5/html/5.1/Installation_Guide/s1-kickstart2-options.html -- multipath (optional)
