winbind socket error
...httpd error log records this: PAM: user 'bking' - not authenticated: System error Any ideas? I have the firewall turned off. The log files in the log/samba folder seem to only record service up/down events. Is there some other log file I should look at? Thanks for any help. ____________ Brannon King

winbindd ?'s
Am I correct in my understanding that with winbindd (and PAM), I am able to authenticate PAM aware apps against an NT 4 domain with no passwd entries? If so, how would one get ssh working with this? I've followed the winbindd how-to and haven't been able to ssh into the box with winbindd using an account that only resides in the domain (i.e. isn't in the passwd file). Could

wine and myth ii soulblighter update edition: help needed
I'm using the 2005, May 24 version of Wine that I downloaded, compiled and installed myself via wineinstall I installed Myth II from CD and then upgraded it to 1.5.1c using the patches from projectmagma. I can startup Myth to the initial menu screen but I can go no further... the mouse just sits there jerking back and forth. The entire error log is here:

fixme:font:load_VDMX Failed to retrieve vTable
When I run the Setup.exe for Myth II: Soulblighter, none of the text that the installer renders is visible. Instead, I mainly see little boxes where the text should be. I am running Fedora Core 4. This did not happen under Fedora Core 3. And yes, I did rebuild wine. And I got Wine via CVS last night. The error/warning message I get is in the Subject: fixme:font:load_VDMX Failed to retrieve

Announcing sqlscore

As the DESCRIPTION file puts it, this package "[p]rovides utilities for generating SQL queries (particularly CREATE TABLE statements) from R model objects. The most important use case is generating SQL
