Temporary files / Uploads
...environment. Can I also set it in the configuration file for mongrel? I have not found something about it in the docs. Another thing: When I upload a file, the file is stored 3-4 times: In the TMP by mongrel as mongrel.3400.0 and then as CGI.3400.0 I currently examine the rails application boxroom (I do not expect any answers in this group specific to boxroom), which then itself stores the file twice again for some reason. So at the end I have the same file 4 times on disk (before one of the boxroom files will be deleted by boxroom). I wonder who is responsible for cleaning this up and...

How to use find_options in multi_search
...ults for the given customer. My current code looks like this: Folder.multi_search(@search_query, [Myfile]) I noticed in the API you can add options and find_options to this. How do I use these parameters, so only results for a certain customer are returned? Thanks in advance. Mischa -- http://boxroom.rubyforge.org -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

...access folder_id in the show-view like this <%= folder_id %>, I get an error (undefined local variable or method `folder_id''). Is this possible or do I NEED to use instance variables -- which I''d rather not do? Thanks. Mischa. -- Open source file management webapp :: Boxroom :: http://boxroom.rubyforge.org/

Tokenizers?
Hi everyone. First a quick word - I am relatively new to Ruby and Ruby on Rails, but I love learning about it and using it. Currently I am working on extending Boxroom (file repository RoR app) for the CARE Indonsia intranet, where I work as an intern. I am using ferret, and it''s working great. I noticed that if a file contains something like this "applications/entries", this will be parsed as one word, and "applications" as a query...
