3ware 9550SX - Xen-3.0.0
...ich is driven by a 3ware 9550SX controller. The problem is that as linux-2.6.12.6 has no support for this type of card by default, so I need to download & compile the driver the vendor provides. I did so (for the kernel 2.6.12.6-xen0) and generated an initrd image which gets loaded properly at bootime, but whenever the 3w-9xxx.ko module is loaded it all I get in addition to a bunch of dump is ''Aiee, killing interrupt handler...'' and my boot process gets stuck. Any ideas how I can compile a third party driver to support my ARCH=xen kernel and the Hypervisor ''underneath...

Time is off by an hour in my XEN vm
Hello, I''m hiring a XEN virtual machine running Ubuntu at a hosting company. My XEN virtual machine is hosted on a server which has some other VM''s running on it. They all use ubuntu or debian. After a crash sometime last week, the systemclock of my VM is off by an hour (it says 19:49, although it''s 18:49 here now). The other VM''s don''t have

...; different from any other host's ifaces. in your systemd's dhcpd service config: ExecStart=/usr/sbin/dhcpd -f -cf /etc/dhcp/dhcpd.conf -user dhcpd -group dhcpd --no-pid virbr0 have your dhcpd.conf constructed to serve that virbr0 and the subnet, and... that is it. [Doc] writeup for error handling usage in XEN
Hi, all Those days, we spent some efforts to check severe error handling (panic, BUG_ON, BUG, ASSERT) in XEN. We have several round internal discussions as well as several mail threads with Keir.
