btrfs-convert processing time
Hi,
I''m trying to convert two ext4 FS to btrfs, but I''m surprised by the
time needed to do that conversion.
The first FS is on a 500GiB block device, and btrfs-convert is running
since more than 48h :
root 1978 25.6 47.7 748308 732556 ? D Feb18 944:44
btrfs-convert /dev/vg-backup/backup
The second is on a 340GiB block device, and the processing time is similar

Well it's certainly a bug but it is hard to say if it is upstream or if
it is caused by (perhaps partially incomplete) backports in the
packaging. Before reporting upstream it would ideally be reproduced with
either the latest...

Hi,
I backported the 4.2 packages from sid to wheezy, it works, but sometime
I obtain that kind of error, when trying to start a PV VM :
# xl create /etc/xen/ronflex.cfg

[blkfront] max_segments & max_segment_size
Hi,
I have (very) poor write performance with Xen PV, used over RBD, and I
suppose it''s because of very short values for max_segments and
max_segment_size.
(I have 250MB/s write speed in Dom0 vs 40MB/s write speed in DomU)
From what I read, there is already a patch to fix that, called "multi
page ring support for block devices" :

dom0 unable to launch domU
Hi,
I have a problem with a dom0 which is unable to launch my domU : all my
dom0 are Debian Lenny amd64 with Debian kernel 2.6.26-2-xen-amd64 and
xen-hypervisor-3.2-1-amd64. Then all domU (PV) are Debian Lenny amd64
too, with vanilla kernel 2.6.29.6.
So, this new dom0 can''t launch any domU which are working on an other
dom0. Software is same on both dom0, and hardware is near the
