Multiple usernames and strange log
...IP 195.122.195.222 on subnet REMOTE_BROADCAST_SUBNET
- name not found.
This file is plenty of lines like that. Almost all the IP addresses
are out of our net. How can avoid receiving those requests or
logging them?
Thank you for your time.

Netlogon problems
...search the causes,
parameters that I should review, windows 95 configuration, ...
Where can I found information about timing parameters
on the makefile?
Which is the daemon that serves the netlogon? nmbd, smbd or both?
Thank you very much.

File name in the print command
...if there is anybody who is printing banners and this
works for him, tell me which configuration is using
(Samba version, system, relevant smb.conf parameters, ...)
It would be great to have another macro with the filename
the client knows.

Unable to browse
I have two problems running Samba on Solaris 2.51, Samba version 1.9.16p11. 1) When browsing the CADCAM group, which is where the Sun group is, the CADCAM name shows up on Explorer, but when I click on the group to browse the contents, the '+' disapears and the group apears to be empty. We can, however, map drives using \\sun01\sharname' directly.
2) When we dial into the network

smbpasswd fails with unix password sync enabled
Hello again,
I would like to thank Giant Wang and Miquel Bonastre for their responses
to my query in "Samba Digest 1734" regarding simultaneous passwd changing for
users via Samba. Their comments were helpful, but have not solved the
problem.
For those who do not have a back log of the Digests, the problem is that
with unix password sync=yes, users...

NT Crashes when doing large network file Xfers (was Re: NT crashes during smbtar)
Ernie,
Thanks for the great info.. Based on what you were seeing, would
you suspect that part of the problem is with the combination of NT
and the 3com card (3c595)? Currently, we are ONLY seeing this
under NT Workstation (not server) and almost all of our machines
have this same 3com 3c595 card (only if using 100BaseT)..
