Has anyone implemented an outcall notification when there is a voice message waiting? I would like to have the system notify me of awaiting voice messages by a telephone call rather than an email notification. I would imagine that a call could be dumped into the asterisk spool directory, but I'm not sure how I would monitor for messages waiting. Has anyone implemented such a feature for

I have used 3Com 3c509 nic width bnc coax. I have experienced that these cards used width FreeBSD and Samba is unusable due to speed. I tried to change the 3com card with a NE2000 compatible card, and there was a major change in speed. Has anyone else experienced such problem. Asgeir Stangeland

Hi all. I would really like to use Theora for the commercial product I work on... It's a Linux based DVR. Actually we use ffmpeg to produce MPeg4 short clips from 4 BNC channels in CIF resolution. Does anyone have any suggestions, possibly for video capture cards, perhaps on newer chips?
