Bandwidth measurement tool: bmtools
...hing that works and does just what I want it to.
This is useful for checking to see how much bandwidth a codec
_really_ uses, or seeing what your total usage is between two IAX
hosts, or pretty much anything that requires live examination of
ethernet segment traffic.

Setting up an IAX2 trunk
...AX2 trunk between two
servers.
Server A has the following in iax.conf:
[general]
...
[ServerB]
type=friend
trunk=yes
host=dynamic
secret=myPassword
context=myContext
Server B has the following in extensions.conf:
[outgoing]
exten=>_40X,1,Dial,IAX2/ServerB:myPassword@x.x.x.x/${EXTEN}
I am using bmtools to monitor the bandwidth usage, and
I am not seeing a difference.
Is there any other configuration I need to do to get
this to work?
- Thank you for your time

Bandwidth measurement tools (was: GSM v iLBC for low bandwidth connections)

Realtime graphing is not supported, but this tool happens to be
UNIX-based and parseable by other upstream systems (like RRDTool or
MRTG):
"rate" http://s-tech.elsat.net.pl/bmtools/
Looks right at the wire using standard BPF filter rules. Very
convenient and easy to use if you're familiar with tcpdump or
tethereal or any other similar tool.

the same with more channels added. The 6.1 number for LPC10 seems a
