Color in console
Hey all. I have a color-capable console (color ls works, and I can run
any color-smart program like naim and bitchX), but for some reason the
color in the console for asterisk, whether started with -c or
safe_asterisk, isn't working for me.
Any ideas as to why?
I don't think it's my termcap, although I could post that if y'all really

ICMP
After the recent attacks on the major servers on the web my ISP has
decided to stop all ICMP messages from his ISP.
I have red the RFCs and it seems that he cant do that... As a result
pings and traceroutes will not work.
I need a friendly person out there to tell me a way to break the news to
him that he has to allow ICMP packets
through his network... any suggestions would be helpfull

...inc currently allows keys of > 4096 bit during creation.
But when running with those no connection can be setup.
Either there should be a limit set (or a warning at least) during
generation or tincd should not have that limit.
imho, of course.

vmailmgr user database
hola guys
Is a module for vmailmgr userdb being under work
by someone?
If not, i'd like to help out. Is there a standard API to
implement or such? Is there some further documentation
to avoid a full inspection of the sources?
thank you

dovecot checkpassword passdb and vmailmgr
hello
some times ago I posted some patches to workaround vmailmgr
not fitting into dovecot's passdb-checkpassword authentication
module.
Yesterday I spent some spare time for carrying out a cleaner
solution for this problem.
Check out these patches. If you're not interested in merging them,
I will make them available at the same page I used for the former
solution [

dovecot and vmailmgr/qmail mailboxes
Hello folks,
Time ago I worked on a patch for dovecot to work with vmailmgr
http://mij.oltrelinux.com/net/dovecot-qmail-vmailmgr/
The patch was required because, despite vmailmgr complies with the
checkpassword
interface supported by dovecot, dovecot snips the mailbox directory
returned by the
authentication module at colon characters ':'. Incidentally, vmailmgr

dovecot and vmailmgr
hello
now that dovecot supports authentication with checkpassword-compatible
modules, I tried to get it working for IMAP on a qmail + vmailmgr
server.
For a subtle detail, while claiming to be "a drop-in replacement for
the standard
checkpassword", checkvpw (auth module for vmailmgr) is not "drop in".
It actually
expects 2 args on its command line, not 1. So, a wrapper
