mapping multiple groups with: net groupmap?
...9;s no way I'm putting 1300 names on one line in a "group" file,
even assuming that that sort of secondary group assignment would work
here, which I doubt.
I tried feeding the command above a comma separated list of groups, but
that didn't work:
Unable to lookup UNIX group users,biostaff. Make sure the group exists.
So what is the magic command to tell Samba to map _ALL_ unix accounts to
"Domain users"? That's I think what most of us need for the default value.

upgrade broke XP workstation logins, variably
Help please, a file server was upgraded from:
Mandriva 2007.1, Samba 3.0.24-2.7mdv2007.1
to
Mandriva 2008.1, Samba 3.0.28a-2.1mdv2008.1
and it broke something badly.
After the upgrade logins from all XP workstations broke - some of the
time. For an existing account (one with a profile already in the home
directory) sometimes it will login normally. Well, almost normally, it
never seems

Windows Vista keeps on deleting cached roaming profile
I have a couple of Windows Vista Computers that i freshly (re)installed,
updated to SP2 + all updates, and joined to my domain...
i also got an empty profile on the server (the storage folder is there, but
there are no files inside)
When i log into the domain Windows creates all files and folders just fine
and stores a cache of that profile in c:\users\username (like it should),
