SUSE Patches
Hello all,
I am running SLES9 with the latest kernel patches (2.6.5-7.282-bigsmp)
and ocfs2 version (1.2.1-SLES), I was wondering if anyone had any info
on if the latest ocfs2 will be included in SLES anytime soon. Or how to
get the patches from Novell. Thanks in advance!

Transient xen performance issue
I''m installing Xen with the OpenSUSE 10.2 distro and the
bigsmp-2.6.18.8-0.13.i586 kernel. However, I occasionally get insane
amounts of slowdown (almost 100x) in dom0. On bootup, performance is
normal. After an undeterministic period of time, I get this crazy
amount of slowdown. I''m not sure why this is the case and I have spent

Much appreciated.

how to prevent filesystem check
...it.
I think the filesystem got destroyed because of the filesystem ckecks, while
mounting it readonly on the second server.
I googled around, and found a similar message from someone mounting a XFS file
system. So I am not sure, whether this is a mount or a ext3 problem.
my kernel is a 2.6.12.6-bigsmp, on a SuSE 10.1.
Is there any other way to prevent the slave server from doing any filesystem
checks?
kind regards
Sebastian

Please apply to xen-unstable.hg.
Please apply to xen-3.0-testing.hg.
Tested on top of the KY patches for XCHG (HVM) and SMP SVM support.
Keir,
Can those 2 patches KY posted last week, also be applied to 3.0.2?
We''ve booted 64bit SUSE10 8-way, and 64bit RHEL4u3 4-way, BigSMP SUSE,
and largeSMP RHEL kernels with these 3 patches.
