dsniff berkley database issues
Hi All,
as a CCNA student and wishing to eventualy do CCSP, I wanted to learn
all about what hackers use/do to infiltrate networks, and was introduced
to dsniff at a Linux meeting, TLUG, in Tokyo, but, am having problems
installing it. Please see below.

Distroy to experiment with Xen?
...ication environments and hopefully make my
life easier. I am currently using FreeBSD 6 but it seems that it
doesn''t fully support Xen. I did some searching around and also notice
some posts on mailing lists mentioning some trouble with the CentOS 4
distribution (something about the default Berkley DB package not
playing nicely with Xen). Anyway, I know there was some mention of Xen
on the mailing list a little bit ago and was wondering if anybody had
any insight as to what OS / Distro would be well coupled with Xen for
an end goal of Ruby on Rails, Mongrel, Apache, Postgres, etc...
Thanks,...

rsync read block size
Hi All
We want to use rsync to backup a live Berkley db to a remote site. BDB
has a requirement that read has to be in the unit of db page size. So
wonder how could we make sure that rsync can follow that? If we need
to change the code, where we should begin to look at? Thanks!

I've looked at subversion recently. Setting it up wasn't a big deal but
its much more complicated than CVS (e.g. you have to get a specific
version of Berkley DB). Also, there are enough problems with it that I
deem it unstable. The last thing we need is a buggy SCC system. I think
Subversion is a good choice (functionality wise), it just isn't quite
ready yet. Perhaps by release 1.2 or so the main issues will have
settled down. I haven't looked...

OT: US city proximity search
Does anyone know where I might be able to download/purchase a database of US
cities and their longitude/latitude coordinates? I''d like to provide a
search option on a website that allows users to search by city but include
cities in the surrounding area.
Thanks,

[OT] SVN: Anybody use BDB?
I''m moving my Subversion repository to a new server. The old server uses
Berkeley DB/Sleepycat and if memory serves, it was a lot of effort to
set that up -- so I think I''ll try FSFS. Does anybody use BDB and prefer
that over FSFS? Or had any problems with FSFS? (I never had any problems
with BDB, performance or otherwise, btw.)
Thanks,
Joe

choice-based conjoint
Hello everyone,
I am new to this list and the R-Project, so I hope my question is not
trivial or has been answered before. I searched the FAQs and the mailing
list archives and I could not find anything about Conjoint Analysis. I am
especially interested in Choice-based Conjoint, resp. discrete choice
models.
Is there a function / module that handles this issue? Or can the multinomial

personaly had good experience with drbd (block device replication over the
network; only supports 2 nodes in active/standby configuration but works
quite well for that.)
Item 3 should also feasible; this information is already persistent over
asterisk restarts and seems to be just a berkley db file for a default
install. Sme method as for item 2 should work.
