Linking against a specific Berkeley DB install
...estion to the OpenLDAP list yesterday, but I still haven't seen the message come across the list. I am asking here in the hopes of getting a faster response. I am trying to compile OpenLDAP 2.3.11 from source on CentOS4. I have the rpm for db4-4.2.52-7.1 installed and also a source build of BerkeleyDB in /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.4. How do I get OpenLDAP to link with the bdb 4.4? Hi, I''ve tried running the mysql daemon on a few different servers running Xen, and seen two different sorts of problems. In one case, on two identically configured systems, the mysql daemon segv''s but restarts immediately. This happened with Xen 2.0.5, I haven''t yet seen it with 2.0.6. It seems to be the same problem as this one:

On our web server, for security purposes, it is only possible to ssh to it through one particular ip (which is also a remote machine.)
