Berkely DB authentication?
Does Dovecot support berkeley DB authentication? I'm looking for something simple that is perhaps a single file for multiple domains and something the Exim can also read.

AstDB/Berkely DB - Hash function? Balanced-Tree? b-Tree? Linked List?
...know whether the data structure is a Hash function, a Balanced-Tree, a b-Tree, or a Linked List? I'm trying to estimate the lookup 'cost' of a AstDB with around 160,000 keys? Obviously I already know that it WILL WORK, but the question is whether the data structure is optimal in the Berkeley DB AS IMPLEMENTED in Asterisk. AstDB just like CURL is missing some of its features as implemented, so the generic Berkeley Doc doesn't help much. The key-space is ideal. It's just npa/nxx lookups so it's UNIQUE and EVENLY DISTRIBUTED--a perfect for a hash function (or even a bal...

Package 'data.table' in version R-3.5.0 not successfully being installed
...ows OS platform. I upgraded my R-system to version R-3.5.0. While upgrading my libraries in R as well as in RStudio, I am stuck up in the package 'data.table', which is required by many other packages in R-codes in my R-Markdown files. I tried to install 'data.table' from "USA-berkely" and "UK-bristol" as well as "RStudio" mirrors when the following errors are being shown: From USA-berkely and UK-bristol mirrors: ================================= Package which is only available in source form, and may need compilation of C/C++/Fortran: ?data.table...

Vorbis Comment Editor v0.1.0
Hello All, I have created a Vorbis Comment Editor for the win32 environment. It is completely untested and undoubtedly has bugs. That said, it is fairly stable and functional. It is a simple single dialog based app. I have released it under the GPL and have made code available. It is compiled statically with the latest CVS version of libogg & libvorbis and it uses the vcedit.c routines

nlsList{nlme} control of min and max parameter bounds?
Hi All I'm analysing growth rates using a gompertz (logistic) curve and am attempting to fit parameters for all of my study birds using nlsList. I've been looking for an option in nlsList to set min and max limits for parameter values during estimation, although I have failed to find any under 'control'. Other users seem to have reported that using control in the port algorithm

Where to find db1_dump185 in debian packages ?
Hello, Here http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+database , you can read: "Also, since it's a normal Berkely db1 (version185) file its contents can be viewed/dumped with the standard *db1_dump185* tool. Thus db1_dump185 -p /var/lib/asterisk/astdb will show the complete database tree." Where can this db1_dump185 be found using Debian packages ? Regards -------------- next part -------------- An HT...

win32 question
Does win32 have pathconf() and _PC_NAME_MAX? I ask for ogg123 -- it uses "NAME_MAX" right now (already been mentioned on this list a few times), which does not exist everywhere. I've proposed changing it to use the pathconf() function, but I don't know if win32 has this or not (I don't have, or want, access to win32 compilers :-). If win32 doesn't have pathconf(), we

Mtext doesn't display characters in italic when I use a greek symbol
Following on from my previous mail! plot(1:10,1:10) mtext("title", side=3, adj=0, font=3, cex=1.5) This works as expected and puts the font in italics. tag <- "A)" suffix <- "genea::" plot(1:10,1:10) mtext(bquote(.(tag) ~ Delta * .(suffix)), side=3, adj=0, font=3, cex=1.5) Here, the font isn't in italics, it's normal. I presume this is some

test suite
Hi Ralph, could you please set up a area at xiph.org, where you mirror some of the test sequences, just to be shure that everybody talks about the same sequence ? The license issues are not too important, I think if we should be allowed to use 'free for non-commercial use' sequences for our tests. Perhaps it's a good idea to seperate things in 'free', 'free for test

jpeg() saving blank files?
Hi, I am having trouble saving graphics from R. jpeg() saves a file with the correct name to the correct directory, but it consists of a blank (white) jpeg with the specified dimensions--the image itself is not being saved. My code is jpeg(filename="myfile.jpg", height = 2.5, width = 8, units = "in", res = 72, pointsize = 12, quality = 100, bg = "white",

[libvirt] Creating a storage volume for raw format file
Hi I'm trying to create a volume in an existing storage pool using python by calling createXML() on the pool object. If the file that is the subject of the new volume exists you get and error, also if it doesn't exist I worked out that specifying <source> <path>path to copy of file</path> </source> works, seemingly by copying the 'source' file to
