I'm working on building a target for llvm that's the intermediate language of another compiler, so that the other compiler can benifit from llvm's optimization passes. I essentially made a copy of the mips backend, and then started changing the output to match the intermediate language of the compiler. This has kind of annoyed me lately. The FFXI patch code has been around for ages now, but it still isn't included in development releases (currently 1.1.17). Nor priobably more usefully is the Fallout 3 patch which benifits others games with the VideoDriver ability?? Is there actually any reason why they are not included??

Thanks to Anton. Frankly said i don't know the exact meaning and purpose of 'isCommutable'. By my opinion "add.w r6, r7" != "add.w r7, r6", so we shouldn't set isCommutable = 1. Who would like give an example to demonstrate what benifit it has if 'isCommuatble=1' in instruction selection, register allocation or other process?
