Multiplexed Ogg and header problems.
...ession rates it's very similar. The only problem seems to identify what's each of those streams for. In other word, how should I know that stream A is Swahili and stream B is Speranto, or that stream A is the -q3 compressed and Stream B is the -q1 compressed? [Flac-users] Can I use Vorbis comment on ogg - flac?
...1.0 gets out (supposedly RSN). But I want to enter the vorbis comment just once. Since I'll use ogg bitstream for both files, I was wondering if I could use vorbiscomment or tOGGer on ogg-flac files? Is there any tool (besides de pipe) to convert ogg-flac to ogg-vorbis? Best regards, Alejandro Belluscio

[Flac-users] WinAmp PlugIn and Ogg framing.
...which is expected). So basically I have this orphaned ogg flac file which I'm not sure what to do with. Is this an interim situation until theora releases their mux/demux library or is simply that ogg flac is a feature that's there "because we can"? Best regards, Alejandro Belluscio

[Flac-users] Any significant changes for 1.0.5?
Hello Josh, I'm about to encode some of my CDs. Are any significant changes for 1.0.5 that I may want to wait (like with VorbisComment) or is it really near? -- Best regards, Alejandro Belluscio

...ile should be a good thing. Let's say that we encode a movie. Iy may be nice to be able to put comments on each data stream (audio, video, text) but the file as such should have some comments. Is this not possible so you can concatenate two ogg files to get a valid ogg file? Regards, Alejandro Belluscio > --- "Alejandro G. Repository of vorbiscomment text files?
...ave a couple of scripts to do the tagging. So I'm slowly making a collection of .txt files for different CDs. Is there any repository for this? I think it would save a lot of duplicated effort. I'm willing to upload my collection, but it's only like 15 CDs (for now). I tried this with speex files, but speexdec insisted on ending at the end of the first file. I traced this back to the "end of stream" flag on the...

WinVC v1.11 released (bug fix for Europe)
European users that use a comma as a decimal point were experiencing a BSOD (blue-screen-of-death) using the new OggInfo.exe support. This was due to OggInfo.exe returning a period (.) in numbers regardless of windows regional settings. http://winvc.stationplaylist.com/WinVC.exe Cheers, Ross Levis. <p>--- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage:

delay issues in speex, integer API
Hmm, the delay caused by the filters in the speex UWB mode seems to be 509 samples. I used the GoldWave editor to determine the offset. I have always been confused by the SNR output in the testenc source code. It did not make sense because it uses a 640 (=FRAME_SIZE) offset for its SNR calculations. After changing the calculation method, the SNR readings are much better. I may decide to adjust my

Server cutover complete; waiting for root server DNS propogation
Hello, All services have been successfully migrated to our new facility. Unfortunately, NetSol once again displayed a brilliant inability to grasp a clue using both hands and a suction cup, and informed us they *might* get around to updating DNS records in about two weeks. If we could fax them enough identification. Needless to say, they've lost our business and our domain transfers should
