Blacklists.
...xtension.conf we are using the next configuration: exten =>_number,1,AGI,blacklist_in.agi exten =>_number,2,Answer exten =>_number,3,AGI,application.agi exten =>_number,4,AGI,blacklist_out.agi The problem that we have now, is that blacklist_out will have to know the time when the call began. There are any way to pass to the blacklist_out when the call has began. For example blacklist_in can generate when the call has began, but can't pass it to blacklist_out. Thanks in advance. (PR#1008) SIGSEGV began at 1.2.0
This behaviour is confirmed for RH70, RH62, Debian 2.2 on 3 different Pentium-class i386. I've checked back and package ann_0.2-2 works on 1.1.1, but fails with seg. faults on 1.2.0 (ann_0.2-2.pre3.tar.gz to accommodate the change in Makeconf) and subsequent (1.2.0 checked today on RH62 with gcc 2.95.3 19991030 (prerelease)). It is most likely that 1.1.1 was too forgiving, and that better

Question: How to contribute to Asterisk-addons
Hi, I am a beginner who began to use Asterisk in this July. Last week, I made two addons for PostgreSQL (cdr_addon_postgresql.c and res_config_postgresql.c), because I use not usual MySQL but PostgreSQL. # Of course, not scratch build but modified version 1.4.8. But I don't know how to change configure script, menuselect-...

large file storing in postgres sucks?
...''audio/mpeg'') post :create, :product => valid_product, :media => { :image => upload } And then in the controller: blob = Blob.create :data => uploaded_file.read When /files/podcast.mp3 is 32 megabytes and I run the test, memory spikes hugely. My laptop quickly began swapping out memory and became unusable. top showed the memory usage of the Ruby process to be about 400MB and growing. Is there something stupid that I''m doing? Joe

off: live365 relay
...e365 site to see song info and there was no info for relays. Not a problem, since Oddsock and others made programs available to easily display tunes on your own website. Eventually Live365 figured out it would be neccesary to make some money to cover the bandwidth they were giving away, so they began dropping commercials in at random during your stream. Then they started charging for expanded " directory listings. Then they started charging for virtually all services. - They were pretty nice, and let their "founding" broadcasters get an almost free ride, but began charging a...

need help on daylight saving time issue.
...18/09/2009 1:07 PM file2 0 KB File 1/11/2009 1:42 PM For file1, there is a 1 hour discrepancy on modified time shown on AIX server and samba client. The file1 was modified before the daylight saving date began, while the file2 was modified after daylight saving date began. The AIX timezone environment variable TZ is EET-10EETDT,M10.1.0/02:00,M4.1.0/03:00, which is correct. I even upgraded samba from 3.0 to 3.4.2 on AIX 5.3, but the issue is persistent. Please shed light on how to solve this issue....

Mac Text editors
Hi everyone, I've recently moved from using a windows machine to a Mac (some might call it an upgrade, others not?I'll let you be the judge). Once I started using Notepad ++ on my windows machine, I really began to like it. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what the free text editor options are for the Mac (Notepad ++ is windows only). I've dabbled with Linux before and used Emacs/ESS there. However, I seem to remember fighting pretty hard to make that work and the OSX file structure isn't that in...

Parked calls and the # key
I am perplexed by this so I how someone can help me out. On one of my servers the users began complaining that if they picked up a parked call they could not use the # key to transfer the call. This is a particualarly annoying issue since everyone has been taught to use #700 to park calls. At first I thought it was a DTMF issue with the polycom phones, since rebooting seemed to fix the prob...

About the google-invisibility of this list
Hi, i wondered why our happy bug hunt about the uninitialized register did not pop up in Google during a search for recent mentionings of xorriso. Wasn't there a thread about google-invisibility a few months ago ? So i began to watch and made an experiment. Can it be that this HTML tag META NAME="robots" CONTENT="noindex, follow" in http://www.syslinux.org/archives/2013-November/thread.html and http://www.syslinux.org/archives/ is to blame ? ---------------------------------------------------...

mac ghostscript help
...ite -sOutputFile=/dev/null -sstdout=data.ps.xml capturedata.ps' ESP Ghostscript 7.07.1: Unrecoverable error, exit code 1 I am confused by the mention of a Ghostscript 7.07.1, because that is not the version that I have installed on my computer. After running a search of the R archives, I began to think that maybe I needed to tell R where my Ghostscript is, so I began to look for it. Now here is where I feel I am missing some key concept, because I find a folder called "ghostscript-8.56" that contains many files and folders with more files, and I have no idea which file...

complete index rebuild using AAF trunk
...ppose it relies on timestamp consistency between system components... it is possible that between setting "start = ..." and performing the rebuild, another thread in the system will have create an earlier timestamp for an object that did not get committed until after the rebuild began. Is it possible to do a perfect rebuild, or would that require building a layer of concurrency logic into AAF? [2] Is the behavior described in the Drb Server documentation different from AAF when not using the Drb Server? Thanks, John * http://projects.jkraemer.net/acts_as_ferret/wiki/DrbSe...

ntp and samba43 on FreeBSD-103.
Recently we have been having a lot of trouble with time synchronisation between our samba DC and the domain clients. We are not sure what started this issue since the Samba domain went live on October 11, 2016 and the issues only began to surface this past January but at some point the time on the clients and the DC diverged enough that we began to get strange network errors. Once we figured out that these were caused by time divergence they were not so strange, but to begin with they were most mysterious. In any case, we have...

Stories with many tags, tags with many stories, has_and_belongs_to_many howto?
Hi, I began experimenting with habtm relationships, and so I created a stories table, a tags table, and a stories_tags table referencing the former 2. When I create a "story", I want to add several tags to it. Then, the model should create those tags and link them to the respective stories, and...

Firewall for virtual machines
...the list or privately). I run Windows as a VMWare guest on top of my CentOS host, and I generally have not used a firewall on the guest. This is partly because I only run it rarely, and it seems like a waste when it's running on a host that has its own, pretty effective firewall, but today I began to wonder - would it be a bad idea (or a complete waste) to use a firewall, like ZoneAlarm, on my Windows guest OS? Opinions welcome. Thanks. mhr

ZFS Filesystem Recovery on RAIDZ Array
...mirrors to Backup using the ''zfs send'' command. The Backup receives that with ''zfs recv -vFd''. This ensures that both machines have an identical set of filesystems/snapshots every night. (Snapshots are taken on Primary every hour during the workday). The issue began monday when Primary failed. After restoring it to operating condition I began restoring the filesystems from Backup, again using ZFS send/recv. By midnight, only about half of the data had recovered, at which point Primary attempted its regularly schedule mirror operation with Backup. One of our...
