The use for an XML based metadata format
...airs, this makes it hard to describe relationships in detail; you must either choose a field name that will not be widely understood ('drummer', 'sound engineer', even 'composer' won't get you far) or use a funny way of refining it in the value (such as artist=(composer) Beethoven), I think cast lists for films present a similar problem. There is consistency and indexability to be addressed (Ludvig van Beethoven; Beethoven, Ludvig van; Beethoven). Finally complex relationships are even harder to handle such as specifying a resource's relationship to the rest of a colle...

XML Format Suggestion
Hi, I suggest using basic XML type tags for the file information, so a typical .ogg file would look like: <ogg> <author>Beethoven</author> <title>kreutzer violin</title> <oggaudio1.1>binary information here...</oggaudio1.1> </ogg> this would be make it easy to embed .ogg files in documents and format additions. The use for an XML based metadata format
Daniel, these are all good ideas and worth progressing. However, it may be better not to merge too many goals in one format (MPEG-7 did that and ended up as a big mess). So, I suggest to start by structuring the types of things you want - then finding out which parts belong where into existing formats such as vorbis comment, Skeleton and CMML, and only then start to develop a new format. Asterisk on 64 bit... and testing e164.org
...up with a thought for an interesting e164 service last night - distributed custom ringtones, and custom announcements on a callerid lookup via enum. You'd be able to embed a RINGTONE - an url pointing to either a ringtone definition or a wav file that contains (for example) a small part of beethoven's fifth ANNOUNCEMENT - a similar url, pointing back to my server - me saying "Mike Taht" VCARD - same Add an asterisk agi to do the reverse lookup via enum, play the announcement "Mike Taht" + "is calling" - pushed into my icecast server - hmm I just got on th...

Hi, I am currently working on C5505 USB stick http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/folders/print/tmdx5505ezdsp.html to sample input voice and encode it. For compiling and buring usual programs, I am using CCStudio 4.0. For encoding voice samples, I am using Speex codec binary http://downloads.xiph.org/releases/speex/speex-1.2beta3-win32.zip or
