IPSec tunnel and routing
...appens just like
miracle.
Ok, I would not ask all this if I have no problem with
tunnelling. With configuration like described above, where multihomed
maches have ip-addresses (192.168.1.1, 10.1.0.1) and (192.168.2.1,
10.2.0.1) tunneling works for all machines, but these two
routers. This happenes becase if we send a packet from 10.1.0.1 into
192.168.2/24 this packet does not come to ipsec, but is pushed to
default gateway, if it exists. In other words, local generated packets
do not come through prerouting or something.

matrix into vector with vertex names
...t(y_s)[melt(upper.tri(y_s))$value,] #Step 2: this is where
the trouble with memory occurs
y_s[,1] <- V(y)$name[y_s[,1]]
y_s[,2] <- V(y)$name[y_s[,2]]
names(y_s)<-c("vertex1", "vertex2", "shortestpath")
However I am looking for an alternative way of doing this becase at
the second step I run into a fight with my machine's memory. I know I
can create vectors using as.vector(), c(), etc, but I am not able to
create the two other columns with vertex names.
Best regards,
Joe.

...s a lot of disk churning
(indicating I am running the SQLORA8 dll, I think) and then I get:
General SQL Error.
ORA03114: not connected to ORACLE
Alias: IQORA
I also have a different app which doesn't use the BDE, and it gets a similar
(though not identical) error:
ORA-12545: Connect failed becase target host or object does not exist.
I can connect fine in Windows.
Anybody out there able to run the Oracle assistants (via launch.exe)?

Ogg VEO Codec, video in an Ogg stream
I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I ported a lossy
delta update video compression algorithm to use the Ogg stream
layer. The algorithm was written several years ago in high school to
play video at about ~5 - 10 fps on their 33mhz 486 + turbo pascal machines
becase writing link list palendrome programs was too easy.
The codec does what it says (at least on an Intel Linux machine), but
isn't useful yet for realtime video decompression. It can also use some
tweaks to get rid of some wasted bits in the output stream. Right now, it
depends on GLib and the...

The priority in HTB
...theory says that "Just look
at the self feed list and select the nonempty slot (one with a line) with
lowest level and highest prio." Then I wonder that if the highest priority
class is always in the "CAN SENT" mode, the other classes will have less
opportuinity to send packet? Becase they have to wait the hightest priority
class change to "BORROW" mode. In an other word, when the highet priority
class''s rate increments from 0 to AR(assure rate), NO other class can send
any packets. Is that right?

can someone explain why the domain, function bus, slot function is used in this xml
I don't understand the domain bus slot fuction in below xml, becase,
this is used when deal with management of host devices that can be
handed to guests via passthrough as <hostdev> elements in the domain
XML.( from http://libvirt.org/formatnode.html)
I don't see it use passthrough feature, why it has "domain" bus" slot"

Yes, you have to wait for qemu-img to crash before there will be a
core dump. If it's not crashing, then connect to qemu-img directly,
something like this:
gdb /usr/bin/qemu-img `pidof qemu-img`
and run this command:

Thank you for the quick reply.
As for adding the nwfilter to a guest that does not already have the
filter, will that guest need to be rebooted? Or can I add it to the
guest via 'virsh edit'?
I ask becase, from what I can tell, adding a new filter via 'virsh edit'
doesn't seem to work -- though it's good to know that once a 'filterref'
has been defined in the guest, it can be adjusted on the fly.

authenticate authenticated users
...rver. I sometimes read mail from the server
itself locally with mutt and sometimes remotely with mutt or mozilla .
I would like to avoid typing my password whenever necessary but without
writing a plain-text equivalent copy of it locally.
It feels quite silly to have to type the password locally becase the
imapd does not know that the process is indeed a process of the user
tzafrir. It has all the information it neeeds to check that.
wu-imapd has something called "pre-authentication": the imapd is run by
the user unpriviliged to access mail in the user's home directory. As a

Please connect gdb to the hung process and get a stack trace to find
out where it's hanging.

Put down the crack pipe, dude. My mind is open. I DO use icecast. I DO NOT
want to use shoutcast/live365. As for audio formats, there are abosolutely
no reasons for me to move to OGG, becase icecast2 does not allow me to
provide the same service and experience to my users as streaming mp3s with
icecast 1.x does.
I WOULD love nothing more than to move to OGG once the adequate server
features are in place, and time allows me to re-encode approx. 5000 tracks
of music. But I'm not goi...

Some users cannot read mail: assertion failed
Hi all!
I am a recent user of dovecot. First of all, the migration from UW-IMAP was definitely
worth it. But now I've run into some troubles. Two of my users complain that they
can't read their Inboxes, but other folders work fine. The error message I get in the
logs look like:

Oh this is interesting. I read in the documentation that custom blocks
have tag Custom_tag, which is higher than No_scan_tag, and thus they
aren't scanned by the GC. Indeed, even trying to Gc.finalize on the
object inside the lazy seems to have no effect.
I guess this is becase db is a top-level variable in Libosinfo_utils;
is there a way to change that behaviour somehow?
