Hey list, I'm having problems to get running *. I don't have any digium hardware yet. I just want to perfrom some tests using SIP. I compiled asterisk and zaptel with ztdummy enabled on Fedora Core 3. Call waiting on X100P
I have Asterisk setup in a SOHO environment. I have 2 X100P cards at Zap/1 and Zap/2. I have 1 TDM400P card with Zap/3 - Zap/5. I have subscribed to callwaiting, callerid and calleridcallwaiting from Qwest on the 2 PSTN lines - Zap/1 and Zap/2. My problem is when I'm in an active call to the outside thru Zap/1 or Zap/2, I can't pickup the incoming callwaiting call. I can see the

formatting output with lookup values
Is there an easy way to apply lookup values to output without using a lookup table? For example, I have a users table with a user id. When I display a list of users, I''d like to have "1" mapped to "John", "2" outputs as "Beavis", etc. -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

Problems streaming Ogg Vorbis with icecast2+ices
Hello, Perhaps it is a typical question but i've got stuck. I'm using icecast2+ices to stream some ogg vorbis files or voice_in_life (/dev/dsp) over the network/internet. All seems to work fine, for example using: ogg123 http://127.0.0.1:8000/mount works :). And: ogg123 http://my_internet_ip:8000/mount works too from another pc over internet and far away :). Using mplayer works fine

Asterisk hardphone
I've got Asterisk up and running nicely using a couple of different softphones. Audio quality is suffering a bit due to the hardware that I am working with. So I tried to use a Polycom hardphone but the politics is enough to give you a headache. Polycom seems to support SIP only if you buy it thought their vendors. So I'm looking at a Cisco phone. Has anyone successfully implemented

Well, my intentions is to eliminate de NT4 PDC and put a Samba PDC. So I made the next steps: 1-. In BDC, Administrative Tools - Server Administrators (i think) and there i select the BDC and click in the menu to "Eliminate

VERY VERY Strange problem with Samba Printers
Hello :), I have a very strange problem with printers shared via Samba. My configuration: - A Samba 2.2.8 server under Red Hat 8 as PDC - Windows clients 9x/NT/2000/XP All work fine: The clients can log into the pdc, access to its shares and printers... butt.... in some W2k/XP I realized that when a samba printer is configured as the Default PRinter in windows, MS ACCESS 2002 can't open the

Problems with a PDC
Hello, Perhaps I'm going to ask a stupid question, but it represents a problem for me :'(. My intention is to build a PDC with samba in a lan filled up with Windows clients. I have set up the Samba server and I can "mount" a directory from samba in a letter on a windows machine, such as g: for example. This works fine, but... I can't log in, or validate users, against the
