Beautifying axis tick labels
Hi, For example, the y axis shows "0 500000 1500000". Is there any way to beautify the tick labels to get 0 5 10 15, and at the top of y-axis "x10^5" (superscript 5) ? My plots all have different ylim, how to perform the beautification automatically ? Thanks Stanley [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

scaffold.css
Hi there, I have been working on Rails applications for sometime and lately trying my hands on beautification of the same. Now the problem that I am facing in here is whatever design or layout I try to apply to a particular application is visible to the rest of the applications also! I mean...I am not able to apply different designs to different applications. If anybody could help. Thankyou. -- Po...

Shorewall FAQ Wiki Online, nearly complete...
Hello, Mike Noyes and myself have populated http://wiki.rettc.com with the shorewall FAQ. This wiki is running MediaWiki, http://www.mediawiki.org. Currently, a couple items are not complete. I have just begun a heavy semester of mathematics/physics studies, and do not have much time to give to this. But, it is online, and seems to be stable. I will keep an eye out for abuse, and limit

ps or pdf
Hi everyone, I have been making a fair amount of figures in R recently that I've been touching up with Illustrator and I've found a difference between pdf and ps files and I was wondering if someone could enlighten me about them. While the figures look the same, the ps version tends to have truncated strings. The last character of short strings tends to be on a string of its own, located

[PATCH] tripplite driver updates
...th a reliable serial connection, and inherited the assumption that the serial line connection would not drop, reorder, or fail character read and writes. This patch adds significantly improved failure mode handling and also does basic checks of data validity. There's also a few minor cleanups/beautification. I've tested this code on my machine that runs a Smart 700 on a sporadically unreliable serial interface, and it works for me. The old code would sometimes mysteriously segfault in libc or return wildly out of range values. Patch is against 2.2.2. Detailed changes: - Update comment...

[PATCH 00 of 38] xen: add more Xen dom0 support
Hi Ingo, Here''s the chunk of patches to add Xen Dom0 support (it''s probably worth creating a new xen/dom0 topic branch for it). A dom0 Xen domain is basically the same as a normal domU domain, but it has extra privileges to directly access hardware. There are two issues to deal with: - translating to and from the domain''s pseudo-physical addresses and real machine
