Your sentence was not really entirely precise. What's the harm in
saying sorry instead of barking at people?

WTF - i don't need it beause i am satisfied with the Fedora repo - but
since i *never* install any software on any production machine without
build a proper RPM for maintainaince reasons *for sure* i will not shut
up to recommend learning to build a package to anybody which types "make
install" into any terminal...

default domain empty
...n't work. For example:
> mail_location = maildir:/var/mail/%d/%n/maildir:INDEX=/var/mail/%d/%n/indizies
The variable %d is not replaced with the domain. The dokumentation
says: domain part in user at domain, empty if user there's no domain
Okay, but is there a way to add a domain to this beause i need the %%d
for mailbox sharing.
Can i override the domain with a value from the user db or is it
possible with a login script or somethink?
Thank you a lot

help with functions "spec" and "specprop"
...tion is to high (<0.5 hz)
I cannot get the meaning of the message error unless there is a constraint on the frequency resolution deal with
by these functions ... in this case the error message should read "... Frequency resolution is TOO high (<0.5 hz)"
Even so, I am still puzzled beause the default window is 512 wide ==> 1/512 = 0.001953125
The signal length is 3885 ==> 1/3885 = 0.0002574003
Your help is very welcome.
Thank you in advance.
Kind regards,

2 (very old) bugs?
Hi everybody,
Is someone can confirm me that there are 2 bugs never fixed:
- first in the stat command. Only with the -x option. If you execute
stat -x on /tmp or /usr/bin/passwd parameters for example, the
numeric representation of mode is wrong. The "special" bits are
always 0. No suid-bit, no sticky bit!
- Second. Because of a missing suid-bit on the newgrp command, this

started the async op but before it has completed
7) nbdkit doesn't send a response to the conn->sockout beause when the

Now, I found some trouble in doing this beause I don't understand how

wine 0.9.60 - mandriva 2008.1 spring no sound under wine
Hello I have a problem, I installed Mandriva 2008.1 spring edition and installed wine 0.9.60 and cedega 6.0.5.
I have no sound under wine with ALSA and I have sound under OSS. BUT all work with cedega
My game "RUNAWAY" say something like directx can't use sound beause it is already by another app.
I Tryed some ticks I found under some forums but nothing work , ALSACONF say 2 applications use sound , I killed them but nothing more.
When I use OSS all works fine.
THEN I REINSTALLED LINUX (like a windows user ;-) And now I have no sound with OSS and ALSA :-(
I don&...
